Location was great, very easy access to the lake and ball courts, close proximity to nearby attractions House pros - fairly clean linens, stocked kitchen, pool table, hot tub, comfortable temp even without central AC, plenty of bedsHouse cons - water coming from underneath kitchen floor, water pressure for showers was extremely weak (only 1 water source could run at a time), dryer did not seem to work, clothes/boxers from previous tenants were left behind in closets/bedrooms, no hangers or places to store clothing, condition of shower tubs/caulking needs improvement, water dripping in unfinished area after rain, one sliding glass door doesn't properly shut

We had such an amazing week staying at this house! The home was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Having access to the lake right in the backyard was a huge highlight, and the kids loved biking over to the other beach each day.Another favorite part of our stay was coming home to relax in the hot tub after a day at the beach, it was the perfect way to end each day and made the week feel even more special.There were a couple of minor things that could be improved. The yard could have used a little more cleaning and upkeep, and the dryer didn’t dry clothes very well, often requiring multiple cycles.Overall, these were small issues compared to what was otherwise a wonderful stay. We made great memories here and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property.

Great location! Loved being able to walk from the backyard to East Lake - the beach is quiet and relaxing and we loved being able to use the soccer field and pickleball courts. Hot tub and fire pit were perfect for a relaxing night!The property was clean and welcoming. Owners were easy to communicate with!

Great location, central to everything we wanted to do in Poconos. Having the lake and activity courts directly accessible from the property was fantastic. We took advantage of the super comfortable kitchen, grilling area and fire pit to create some great memories. Thank you.

Family friendly, lots of room, great for small kids because the walk to the beach is literally a minute (small path behind the house takes you right to the beach and playground). My kids loved that! Owner was very responsive to my questions. We had a great time!

Awesome place and location

The stay was short but perfect getaway. The house backs up to the lake. It was extremely convenient. I loved everything about the house and development.

PROS. The house is in a prime location. Literally steps from one of the lakes and another is right around the corner, perfect for beaches and fishing. Very quiet spot! There is plenty of room in the house - 11 beds total! Great size kitchen and living area. Inside was lovely, nice and clean. Outdoor fire pit with plenty of Adirondack chairs. Centralized location for quick trips for food and entertainment. CONS. The outside of the house needs help. During our stay - it looked as if the grass had not been cut all summer. Literally looked like an abandoned house from the outside. I personally swept and cleaned up the outside myself just to feel more comfortable. The grill is NOT in working condition at all. The hot tub is nice but def needs a good cleaning. Outdoor lighting is TERRIBLE. The spotlights barely light up anything. None of them are controlled by a switch it’s all motion sensor. The dryer also doesn’t work - which is not ideal for beach stays. I would def book again if some small things were addressed. Overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the location!!

great time at the lake

Camp Pocono was the perfect getaway. Hanging out by the firepit all day was the best part. Or maybe the 7am dip in the Hot Tub while snow was falling. Great getaway. Loved how quiet it was at night. Host were available with any questions. Def worth the stay!

Overall, we had a great week — the location was excellent and the weather cooperated. No complaints about the community or its amenities. However, for what we paid, the house itself didn't live up to the same standard. We even had to contact VRBO support to reach the owner.The biggest issue was that the dryer wasn't working, which is a real inconvenience when you're at the lake every day. Other issues we encountered:No dressers or hangers anywhere in the house — plan to live out of your suitcase.Extremely low water pressure meant we could only use one water source at a time (e.g., no running the dishwasher while someone showers).The front porch and yard were unusable; the grounds were completely overgrown.The basement had baseboards detached from the wall with exposed nail heads — a safety hazard for kids.The dehumidifier in the basement wasn't working, and there was standing water on the basement floor and under the kitchen sink.The fireplace didn't work (not a summer necessity, but worth noting for future guests).The hot tub was unusable because the temperature was stuck too high and couldn't be adjusted.One more tip: if you're visiting in summer, bring plenty of bug spray and citronella candles — the bugs were relentless!

We enjoyed spending time together at this property, but unfortunately several maintenance and cleanliness issues significantly impacted our stay.The biggest concern was that the fireplace unexpectedly fell out of the wall while we were sitting in the kitchen. Thankfully no one was injured, but it was very alarming and is something that should be repaired immediately.We also experienced repeated issues with the showers, as the water would frequently shut off in the middle of a shower. The basement floor also became soaked with water during our stay, and we were unable to determine where it was coming from.The outdoor spaces appeared to have been neglected for quite some time. The lawn was overgrown, and there were spider webs throughout the property. We had to clean the outdoor dining table and chairs ourselves because they were covered in spider webs and caked-on dirt before we could use them. The front deck was also unusable upon arrival, as the furniture, covers, and surrounding area were covered with spider webs, leaves, branches, and dirt.The dryer was another issue, requiring multiple cycles just to dry a single load of clothes.Cleanliness could also be improved. We found an opened Danimals yogurt drink with extensive mold growing on it inside one of the kitchen island cabinets, suggesting the cabinets had not been thoroughly checked between guests

I was so so disappointed with this stay. There is no AC, just free standing floor units in 3 of the 5 bedrooms. Those units leaked all over our luggage, which were on the floor bc there are no dressers or hangers. A tree had fallen on the roof, chimney was in pieces, seemingly dangerous. The hot tub did not work properly. There is no outdoor lighting expect for flood light which attracted every bug in the Poconos. The furniture on the deck was filthy and uncomfortable. The front deck furniture was covered in furniture covers, stagnant water and spider webs. There was a leak in the basement (where 2 bedrooms and the game room are) after a storm bc the gutters were so clogged. A handyman came and did nothing about it but lock one of the basement rooms which had about an inch of water in it. The whole basement smelled musty and mold after this. The fridge stopped working at one point and groceries had to be thrown away. Every windowsill was lined with dead bugs and spiderwebs. I messaged the management team, they said they would ask for a partial refund for me but of course, I never heard back from them. I’ve stayed in many homes in this development and have never been so disappointed. I’d think hard about booking a stay at this location.
