Beautiful cabin. Well stocked. Comfy beds. Views amazing. We have a Tailblazer which is a small suv. Road to cabin in places not the best but we made it. Would definitely rent again.

Back door was open when we arrived.Cleaning crew showed up at 9:30 am 2 vehicles. Check out was at 11 they were not leaving. We felt rushed and instead of having breakfast we left. It was hard for us to turn around to go down driveway with two extra vehicles blocking us.Concerning if our vehicles were not there and one of us was still in cabin since it was 9:30 what could of happened if they opened the door entered the cabin with unexpected guest not knowing who is entering the cabin.

Hi! We’re sorry about the check out experience and we would have asked them to leave and wait if you had let us know! They knocked before entering and maintenance came in the morning of your check in which is why the door is unlocked. Safe travels!

The cabin was fine except for a couple of housekeeping issues. Dried toothpaste on the mirror in the 1st floor bathroom, an empty container of chewing tobacco under living room recliner, and three lightbulbs out on the high light fixtures. These were minor inconveniences which we were able to overcome and live with for our stay. Nice views.The worst part was going up and down the mountain access road, which the owners mentioned in their description - they were so right! Our Honda CRV bottomed out several times, and tires spun on slick places on the mile road up to our cabin - not fun! There were huge potholes and washed out areas all along the steep portions of the road. Once, on the road, we pulled up on one of the other cabin owner’s truck on the hill, who was shoveling gravel from her truck to try to fill in a huge pothole in the road. I asked her if the county helps with the road - she said “no, because the road is too narrow for the county to legally maintain it.” She said it’s up to the cabin owners to pitch in money to maintain the road and that she has asked other cabin owners to help, but she has not had much success with all the cabin owners to help with the cost of maintenance. We thanked her for doing her part, she pulled over, and we got by to get to our cabin. As other guests have stated here, be prepared with preferably a 4- wheel drive vehicle to traverse the access road! The cabin driveway was steep but well maintained!Overall:Cabin 8/10 Access Road 0/10

Was a beautiful place to stay. The drive up was a little rough due to pot holes but overall loved this place.

Good experience

Loved the cabin and the views. We enjoyed our time there- it was very peaceful and we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. We even saw a bear. The drive up to the property was quite rough and bumpy, so it’s worth being prepared, even with an SUV.

Disappointed.

The picture is not what you get. Property maintenance is very lacking from trash over the side hills to weeds and poison ivy around the cabin overgrown. The fire pit was not dug out and I had to remove 10 buckets of ash with a fireplace shovel to get it safely useable. Had to bring the hose from upstairs down to hook up to douse the fire when we were done. We had no use of the one door and had a nice view of plywood for 11 of our 14 days. Everything seemed to be covered in a thin film of dust. Needed to clean the kitchen before using. Dryer was filled with towels and wash cloths that I had to take care of in order to use dryer. The shampoo conditioner and body gel was provided in a wall dispenser that sat on the edge of the tub making it near impossible to dispense the products. This was both bathrooms. Be ware of outside broken furniture. The grill was pretty amazing just to bad you had to walk all the way around to get to it because the closest access to it was covered with plywood.. w make sure your vehicle can climb a mountain with large pot holes. 4 wheel drive even in good weather is recommended .. or a tractor. It’s pretty obvious the owners have not been around because I would hate to think this is how it would be with regular visits. And if you have a large group, bring larger pans. The biggest fry pan is 8” and only one. Quite a few tiny pans and 2 pots. No large trays 2 serving dishes and not enough regular dishes besides large plates for 10 people. The

Hi Carolyn, I’m sorry the cabin didn’t live up to your expectations, however I don’t feel like your review is accurate. The door glass had cracked just prior to your stay and we notified you ahead of time and you said it wasn’t a problem. There will be weeds, it’s a remote cabin. The wall dispenser was off of the wall because the tubs are brand new and the new ones haven’t arrived yet. We also could have supplied anything else you needed, we just didn’t hear from you. In the future, we recommend reaching out to your host with any issues and we would have corrected them right away.
