Charming converted carriage house on Nantucket's historic Main Street allows easy access to shops, restaurants, beaches and events located in the heart of downtown Nantucket. Walk or bike everywhere, car not necessary (although off-street parking is included). If you want to slow it down and relax for part of your stay, throw some food on the patio grill, soak up the sun on a beach chair in the private yard, or enjoy the spectacular sunset views with a drink in your hand. Upstairs bedrooms offer queen-sized beds and ample dresser and closet space. Futon easily accommodates a small child or an additional guest. Wireless high-speed internet and cable television included at no additional charge. Full kitchen gives you the option of cooking some meals at home. On-island caretakers and landscapers will ensure that your visit is pleasant and worry free.

Great Location

Great location - walk to town

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. 4 adults stayed comfortably and we had everything we needed. Very quiet location. Close to bike paths. We had a wonderful week.

Location location

Property was as stated. Perfect for 2 couples or family of four. Location was walkable to everything, close to bike paths and bus stops.

Perfect location for exploring Nantucket

Jared’s cottage is centrally located so that you can easily walk into town or jump on the bike path to Madaket or Cisco beaches. The house has everything you need including beach chairs and a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed walking into town for dinner and grilling in the backyard.

Charming and conveniently located

This was a beautiful and charming property. Just the perfect size for 2 couples for a weekend getaway. The location could not have been more perfect - an easy walk to town, shopping, restaurants and other activities. What a wonderful home base while we visited Nantucket for a wedding. The owners were a pleasure to work with, and ensured our check in and checkout were simple. Accomodations left nothing to be desired.

Second summer experience

This was our second summer staying here.This property is a great rental if you are looking for a close walk to town. The location is fantastic not to close but not to far from town. The property has everything you need for a great trip! The owner is very fast to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. I highly recommend staying here!

Nantucket fun!!

Stayed in this quintessential Nantucket house with my husband and three teenagers. Plenty of room and the absolute perfect location, just a short walk into town! Jared was very accessible and came through when we had a slight problem. Overall, great stay and would definitely recommend this cute cottage!!! Can’t wait to come back😀

Perfect Nantucket Cottage

We had a wonderful week at this cottage. Perfect size for our family of four! The upstairs sitting room was great for small kids to play and watch tv out of the main living space. Nice location for walking into town and riding bikes out to explore the island. House was very clean and neat, well stocked with necessities and linens. We would love to return to this house!!

Excellent location!

Excellent location close to town. Throw rugs could be replaced and extra linens provided for the futons. Owners have provided everything you need though. Just need to provide better directions on how to operate TVs. Very cute cottage.

Main Street Getaway!

This apartment has it all! It's location is fantastic and a short walk to town. It has everything you would need which makes it easy to get there. It was very clean and had some extras I was not expecting including outdoor shower, beach chairs and bikes. The owners are very accommodating and welcoming. It even had a parking spot. I was looking at staying at a B&B and so glad I did not as this had so much charm and privacy. It also has a full kitchen to make breakfasts and lunches. Decor is very nice and has a cottage rustic feel to it. It was exactly what I was looking for and I am certain to be a returning guest. Thank you Jared!

Great Spot!

We stayed here last week. It was my husband, myself and our 3 children. The cottage was more spacious than the pictures let on and I never felt cramped. Our only downfall, was having a 10 year old on the pull out couch because we got up earlier than she did! Everything was clean and airy, the deck out the front door was a perfect spot in the morning for coffee and at night for drinks or takeout dinners. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were fine. The downstairs one has been renovated and the upstairs doesn't appear to have been, but it was clean! The walk to town was easy! Even my 5 yr old was totally fine. It took about 10 minutes (at a 5 yr old's pace) to get to the top of Main Street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Location!

We really enjoyed our recent visit to Nantucket, and in particular, our rental home. It was perfect for our young kids, with a nice (albeit small) shady yard to play, a quiet driveway for kicking the soccer ball and a quick walk in and out of town. The home was very clean, furnished all linens and towels which is very helpful and the owners were very responsive and helpful during the rental process. The only comment I do have is that I wish I had realized how close this home was to the others around it. A group of rowdier guests were staying in the house adjacent, and did make a bit of noise very late at night. I had to run the A/C fans just to drown them out...which was disappointing given how beautiful and crisp the night air was. But, all in all, this home was a perfect home base for us. We plan to return to Nantucket in the future.

Wonderful stay

My husband and I and our 18 month old had a wonderful stay at Jared’s house. Great proximity to town but far enough away to be removed from the noise. We hope to return next summer!

Charming Home

This property is exactly as described. The location is perfect and just a short walk to town and lots of restaurants and shops. We used the provided beach towels and chairs and made use of the bike rack in the yard. The property manager is quick to respond. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Week!

My husband and I and our two small children (age 3 and 1) stayed in the house for a week. Perfect size and accommodations and a great location. We rented bikes and had great access to town and beaches. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay on Nantucket!

My wife, toddler, and I had a great time in this house. It was the perfect size and perfect location. Very clean and well stocked for everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We are a mother and son from Brookline, MA. By training we are both heavily involved in the healthcare field as a healthcare consultant and practicing nurse practitioner, and a dentist, respectively. We both share strong patriotic ties to our country, as a retired US Navy Captain and an active duty US Navy Lieutenant Commander, respectively.
