You will feel at home the moment you enter this 4 bedroom home! The large open living area boasts a 70-inch big screen for your viewing pleasure and my grandma's piano for the musically inclined. You will love the back porch!! Enjoy beautiful night views of the neighboring town of Algood or even watch TV from the 5-person Hot Springs hot tub! There is a dedicated office space just off the foyer for those that need a workspace when they travel. The master suite offers a walk-in shower and a huge soaking tub surrounded by candles, with bath bombs, salts and bubble bath. Every bedroom has its own TV! I've left all of my games, books, and DVD's for you to enjoy during your stay. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need to cook your favorite meal- just bring the food. Eclectically decorated with the owners own art and lots of Marilyn Monroe. Just minutes to Cookeville!

Very nice

Easy to find, check in was simple, house fully stocked with everything we needed. Nice area and some good restaurants. Hot tub and porch were very nice, beds comfy, its not the best VRBO I ever stayed in, but its pretty good. Owner was excellent with communication. Just remember guest bath water is backwards, hot is cold and cold is hot.

Hot tub was awesome! The host was amazing and accommodating - I had to ship some materials to the house before I arrived. I was disappointed that they had a grill that wasn’t useable, disappointed in the stains on the carpet in many of the rooms, and I hoped to be able to watch NfL football on tv, but the channels weren’t available.

Excellent property - highly recommend!

The property was perfect for our needs. The home is nicely decorated and the bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful. The layout of the house is perfect, and the the house was immaculate. While the location makes you feel as if you are in the country, it is still super convenient to anything you might need. We were busy the whole time we were in the area, so we did not get to enjoy the nice deck and hot tub, but it looked amazing! The owners were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this place!

Five members of our family stayed in The Red House for four nights over the Memorial Day weekend. Each couple and individual had a private bedrooom and access to 2 1/2 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms was up a long flight of steps, but that worked fine for our group. Everyone enjoyed the property, especially the back porch with a lovely view. The house was spotless, well-appointed, and even had a piano. The open floor plan was great for visiting with one another while relaxing, eating, or preparing food. The fireplace opened into the living area and the back porch. The house featured lovely design details as well as a nicely landscaped yard.Daphne was welcoming, easy to work with, and promptly provided all details and answers to questions. She allowed me to enter the house early to leave snacks and breakfast treats for our group. She made sure lights were on in case anyone came in after dark. We would definitely engage The Red House again for guests.

Mini reunion

My oldest daughter and family live in Cookeville. The rest of the family all came to spend a long weekend. 5 adults and 5 young children. The Red House was perfect for our group and close to my daughters home.

Wonderful house and area. And the hosts could have not been nicer

We were in the process of selling a home in another state, and moving to the cookeville area. We needed a place to stay for a week with our dog until we could get the paperwork done on our new house. The jouse was wonderful. Even our very shy and fearful dog was right at home. My favorite part was the back porch it was do nice to have coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening out there. The owner Daphne was so sweet snd checked up us to make sure we were all doing well. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in cookeville dont miss out on the property

Daphne and Chuck's home was just what my siblings and I needed for our visit for our eldest brother's 80th birthday. Finding a place that accommodates 5 adults is not easy in Cookeville and the Red House on Mountain Top fit the bill! Daphne and Chuck were very responsive with any questions we had while there. We'll be keeping this place in mind for our next venture to visit our brother.
