Peaceful views from the porch and fire-pit of the lake. The beds were comfy and the host was responsive. Bonus on the daily morning visitors walking through the surrounding yards.

Very poor mattress & bedding . Porch unclean for a long time

Respuesta de VrboOwner, el 7 sep. 2026
Thank you for the direct feedback. The mattress and bedding have been flagged to the team responsible for the home for assessment, and the porch has been added to the home's cleaning scope so the outdoor spaces get the same attention as the interior. We appreciate you bringing these to our attention, and we hope to host you again on a future visit.

Just as advertised

Very clean, well stocked and easy check-in process. A little far but that is Austin generally. Would recommend any family or group to stay there.

Great property

This home is great. It is big and has a huge yard with plenty of parking. It’s very beautiful and quiet. The house does need a few simple repairs like new light bulbs, the dishwasher wasn’t functioning, and the showers were difficult to operate, but these are simple fixes. Overall it was a great vacation and place to stay for me and my family.

It was fine - seemed a little run down. Not a cute updated place but feels like a house someone moved out of in 1995 or so and put some beds in to rent out- left the nails in the walls etc. Furniture a bit worn out. Bothered me that sheets were rolled up in weird places because it made me feel like mine might not be clean then but they seemed ok. Dishes - especially the plastic ones for outside seemed dirty. The washer didn’t work. I want an experience when I do an vrbo it wasn’t good or bad - but functional and value was better thann2 of us stying in a hotel. The view was good and we had 6 deer in the backyard one day which was neat. Potential

Thank you for the honest review. We're glad the view worked for you, and the six deer in the backyard sound like a memorable touch. We're sorry the washer wasn't working and that a few of the dishes didn't come across as clean as they should have. Those items have been shared with the team responsible for the home so they can be inspected and addressed. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Should you consider staying with us again, we'd welcome the chance to provide a better experience.

The cleanliness was top-notch, with every detail thoughtfully considered—from the plush, comfortable bedding to the well-stocked kitchen with all the essentials you could need. The location couldn't have been better; nestled in a serene spot yet just a short stroll from local attractions, it perfectly balanced peace with convenience. The host was incredibly responsive and provided all the information we needed before our arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process. Every interaction felt genuine, and it was clear they took pride in offering a stellar vacation experience.
