This is a nice little property close to the beach, with great views. It completely served the purpose for what we needed and everything went along smoothly.

The house was so nice, and loved the convenience to the beach! You can see the Ocean from the house, gorgeous views. Air conditioner works so good, we enjoyed the cool air, views, comfy couch. Everything was wonderful and made our stay here an absolute pleasure! We highly recommend

Beachy and fun!

Loved the property and location to beach. Decor was beachy and fun. Really fit what I was looking for in a beach home. Everything was great other than the dryer didn't seem to work. Had to hang towels etc after washing. Couple things also need little handyman work but would return 2nd visit if we could get dryer fixed etc. Great property!

Nice with minor needs.

The location was great, beautiful sunrises and close to the beach with excellent views. House was kind of small but fit our needs perfectly. Clean with many new features like furniture and flooring. We loved our morning walks on the beach. Just a few things needing attention were the upstairs sliding glass doors need re-sealing or replaced, a lot of condensation on the glass. Upstairs outdoor light hanging loose needs attached. Very little closet space as most was filled with other stuff like extra bedding and beach chairs downstairs and construction leftovers upstairs. Closets were small to begin with so this made them smaller for use. Washer and drier were leaning to one side so we never used them for fear they would not spin out. The utility closet that they were in was exposed rather than having a door or even curtain, so the mop, broom, wood trim etc were visible. These were all minor thing that just need attention and not enough to make us call management. We would prefer they get fixed before we rent this property again. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Galveston Beach House

This is a difficult review. We had an easy check-in. Easy to find. The property is unique a bit quirky. What is referred to as the Master has an unusual furniture arrangement and the bathroom is across the hallway so if you were more than a couple it could be awkward, the only locking device for the sliding door is a rod ( same for upstairs balcony) Nice view and very quiet neighborhood. The road is directly to Public Beach access so there are vehicles driving thru early morning. The bathroom had absolutely no place to rest a toothbrush, change of clothes. Everything seemed clean. Our last night we were putting our belongings together and there was a very large roach in the hallway and when my husband went to get it it went into the laundry closet where he found a cluster of dead roaches. We did not use the laundry as we had a short stay. The following morning, my husband pulled his suitcase out of the closet to find a few roaches in his clean clothes. And as he was dressing one jumped on him. What a horror! We live in the South and are aware there are insects but we feel this should have been taken care of prior to arrival. If we were not checking out we would had made a phone call.

Jacqueline, we are happy to hear that you found the home clean, that is was easy to locate, and that the check-in process was easy. We are shocked to hear about the roach situation, especially since Truly Nolen was there 10/18, beginning their extermination process at 3:49pm, and ending at 4:48pm. They covered both the interior and exterior. This home is on a regular extermination plan. The Truly Nolen staff are thoroughly investigating this situation and are as shocked and concerned as we are. They take care of many of our properties. Future guests, happy to share all documentation with you, as requested, and answer any questions you have. Yes, as stated in the listing it is eclectic and many love this about it. The bars do a good job securing the sliding doors. All photos are accurate, and we encourage guests to contact us with any questions about the property. We ask that guests call us right away with any concerns or issues, and we sure wish we had received a call from you so that we could have looked into this matter at the time. We are all saddened to receive this poor review, and disappointed that you all had such an unpleasant experience. We will look into adding some type of shelving in the bathroom. Thank you for taking time to review us.

Casa Mingo - Jamaica Beach, Galveston

A beautifully furnished house in a perfect location for beach and local amenities. The house was well stocked with everything our family needed. The Home-Theatre seating and lovely shower were big hits with our family. Would love to stay there again !
