We really enjoyed our stay here. The property itself is cozy and well appointed. It's very close to downtown Cherry Valley which provided some great dining options. We are planning on returning at some point.

I stayed for a long winter weekend with my adult children. It's clean and updated and everyone loved the hot tub and the sauna, especially! My son loved the loft bedroom and my "chef" son-in-law complimented the amount of kitchen counterspace. And what a great view! Our host communicated several times by text checking on us and responded quickly to any questions we had. I highly recommend this spot!

Rockford Ironman 70.3

Myself and two other athletes stayed here with family for the Rockford Ironman 70.3 race. It was a perfect mix of tranquility and location to get to the race. The house was clean, well appointed, and had a great view. The accommodations were exceptional and communication with the host was easy.

Great spot to unwind

Cabin is very nice and comfortable. It’s on a busier street but it was very quiet inside. The fireplace and hot tub were very nice to enjoy and the bed was comfortable. A few things were missing from the kitchen (like oven mitts, etc), and the one oven had drippings burnt to the bottom that made it unusable. Good communication with the owner for check in and out and reporting of issues. Views of the river were great. Loved watching the geese play in the water and on the ice. Would stay again!
