Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath beachfront condo. Located in one of Galveston's most desirable vacation getaway spots, this two bedroom, two bath condo has everything you will need for your beach vacation. Enjoy free wi-fi, flat screen smart TV's in the living area and both bedrooms and a DVD player in the living area. Kitchen, dining room, living room and master bedroom all look out to the beach, with access to your private balcony from both the living room and master bedroom. Modern kitchen with granite counter tops, microwave and all of the serving and cooking amenities you will need. Enjoy a breathtaking ocean view watching the sunrise from your balcony. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the guest bedroom. In addition, there is a queen size sleeper sofa with a memory foam topper in the living room, so the unit can accommodate 6 people. This unit is centrally located, just a short walk to the beach walk over and the main clubhouse/pool complex. Elevator access makes it easy to move in/move out. Great place!

This place was beautiful! It was clean and the owner was easy to communicate with. There was even an emergency water shut off and Cheryl was very open about it and kept us in the loop. The pools were great! My family preferred the one that wasn’t at the Beach Club but off the bay as they loved the lazy river. The view was amazing! Every morning you can watch the sunrise. It’s the one thing I will miss most! Beach was great! We had fun looking for shells and looking at al the different wild life that is out there. Only thing I would change was the bed in the master room, my husband moved around a lot when he sleeps and the bed was a little noisy with every turn he made while sleeping. The other beds were comfortable!

Amazing Property

Let’s start off with the owners of the property. Normally you can’t check in early (before 4PM) at most anywhere you stay. But, there was a hurricane in the vicinity a day before our stay and the people that were leasing the condo opted to leave early. Long story short, the owners made it to where I could avoid Houston traffic and check in a few hours early. Now to the condo, it is the best location at all of Pointe West in my opinion. Right next door to the Pointe Weat Resort, and just a minute walk to the walkover to go to the beach.

Another Great Pointe West Vacation

This was our 7th annual trip to Pointe West and this condo did not disappoint. Everything about the stay went well, the condo’s amenities and location next to the Beach Club were ideal. We are already looking forward to our next visit and this condo will be at the top of the list when we are ready to book.

Clean, well finished

We enjoyed our stay. It was a planned mini vacation with some of our children and grandchildren who stayed in a condo close to us. The pool area is close and there is easy access to the beach from the boardwalk.

Fourth Stay

We LOVE Pointe West and this property. It's our fourth year in a row staying in this condo and it never disappoints. Well stocked for our needs and the beach "toys" are greatly appreciated. Less to travel with! Great communication with the owner!

Point West - May vacation

We had a great stay as in previous times. The only two negatives were: the elevator wasn't working the entire visit the computer system was down in the check in office. We would consider coming back again.

Perfect place. Great views from the balcony. Great rooftop bar. Unfortunately no conveniently located breakfast options. Otherwise the place is a perfect beach getaway

Family Spring Break Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this West Pointe Beach Club property. It was really cold the first day of our vacation, so it was nice to have such a comfortable place for our family to hang out inside and play games and relax. The pool and hot tub being located right next door is a major plus, though it would be really nice if they would heat the pool as it is freezing cold. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms with nice decor. We only wish more than one extra roll of toilet paper and two extra bath towels had been provided for a family of 5 staying 4 nights. Other than that, no complaints at all. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Nice unit, but some things were missed

This was a really nice unit and we really enjoyed our time there. There were a few things that stood out as simply cleaning and make-ready issues. When we arrived we opened the trash drawer to find that some coffee has been left to rot. As a result, fruit flys had infested the trash storage area. When we open it the flys went everywhere. Foe the remainder of the trip we were constantly seating or catching fruit flys. Not fun! We also noticed a few smaller things that indicated a lack of effective cleaning. We felt sand all over the floor as well as a ballon left in a harder to reach place. Not sure how well the unit was really cleaned. Another small detail but a pet peeve. Some of the light bulbs didn’t work and others were carrying color temperatures. It was a detail that made the unit seem just un attended to. And finally we were told that the elevator wasn’t working. What we didn’t know is that the hallway connecting the two sides of the building would be closed off. This meant that we had to walk all trash downstairs and couldn’t utilize the trash shoot. That wasn’t t that bad but when we tried to park in the designated parking spot we were asked to move out into the uncovered parking by the elevator installers. They rudely asked why the owners didn’t tell us because, as he put it, they should have.This would have been good to know ahead of time. We appreciated the discount given due to the elevator we just didn’t know to what degree it would affect the experience. thanks

Great Weekend Getaway

Our condo was beautifully decorated and clean. The hosts were great, friendly and very easy to work with. This condo is next door to the infinity pool, beach club, and bar as well as quick beach access, which was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much. Kim K

Annual Stay

This is our 3rd year at this rental and we still LOVE it. Owner is wonderful to work with and the place is amazing. Exactly what we want in a weekend end of Summer vacation. Access to the Beach and the Pool make this the perfect place to stay!

All Wonderful!

This is a very charming, spotlessly clean condo that is located in an attractive beach resort. Cheryl was very helpful and responds quickly to messages. We recommend West End Marina and Restaurants, 9 minutes away, as well as Waterman's Restaurant, 16 minutes away, for beautiful waterside dining. We enjoyed our 5 day stay tremendously! Beautiful Condo/Great Location

My family and I stayed in this beautiful condo on our first vacation to Galveston and it was perfect! Right next door to the beach club and a short walk to the beach. Plus…we didn’t have to cross the road to get to the beach like other properties closer to downtown Galveston. The condo was clean, well supplied and even included gear for the beach. We look forward to more visits in the future.

Relaxing Spring Break

This is the first time we have ever been to Galveston and to this unit. We chose this unit because it was actually on the beach and we didn't have to cross multiple lanes of traffic to get to the beach like we would have had to do if we stayed closer to actual downtown Galveston. We like relaxing vacations and do not need to be doing something every minute of every day. The unit was neat and tidy and charming. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots and pans we needed to make our meals. There was even a supply of foil, baggies and stuff like that if needed and salt & pepper. Even though we brought our own beach towels there was a basket full for us to use which came in handy having extras. The balcony was huge and was great for me to be able to do my morning yoga on even though the weather was not the warmest. Because of the direction the building was situated we were able to gain a wind block almost every day. There was an issue with one of the chairs that I reached out to the owner about and she hadn't known anything about it and was grateful I mentioned it to her. Only downfall of the balcony is that it could really use a really good sweeping and cleaning. There was piles of sand/dirt around the door mats leading into each door off the balcony. We scoped out both pool areas at the complex and preferred and loved the Beach Club one that was right next to the building our unit was in. It is where we spent most of our time. The pool itself was quite cold so we did not go in it and the hot tub was alway completely packed because the weather was not the warmest and the pool was cold, so we did not go in it. It was great having the locker below that had a wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and nets. We used the sand chairs and nets. The chairs could use a good power washing but we just draped our towels over them. Being so close to the walkway over to the beach was so convenient! It made it really easy for us to go walking on the beach after dark looking for crabs and washed up jellies. We had an issue with the renters above us keeping us up till all hours of the night even after going up and asking them to quiet down. I reached out to the owner and she helped by getting the complex security involved and having them talk with them about the 10pm quiet time policy. Overall it was the relaxing vaca we needed!

We have been frequent visitors and vacationers to Galveston since 1980, having stayed at a number of beach houses, hotels, and condos over the years. After one stay at Pointe West a few years ago, we fell in love with the community and decided to make this our permanent vacation getaway spot. Pointe West is a hidden gem on the west end of the island that many people in Houston still don't know about. It's far enough away from hustle of Galveston's seawall hotels and restaurants that you will feel like you are on your own private beach community, but just a short drive to the many attractions that Galveston has to offer, like Moody Gardens Aquarium, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Rainforest Cafe, the Strand shops and restaurants, and first class golfing, just to name a few. We know you will enjoy your stay here.
