Sunset Vacation Rentals is fully staffed with a property manager, housekeeping staff and maintenance crew.

All guest receive 10% off Sunset Taxi services when picked up from a Sunset Vacation Rental property. Private tours are also available to visit local attractions and wineries.

Specifically for all Sunset Vacation Rentals guest street legal 6 seater golf carts are available for our guest to reserve and rent during their stay.

**This is a dual occupancy home and there is a unit available for vacationing guests next to this unit. Entrances and spaces are private, there is no shared space.**

• Please clean up after your pet(s), both indoors and in the yard.
• Put any and all trash bags in the can outside.
• Pets are allowed in our units marked pet friendly only. A pet, or any evidence of a pet found on the property, that was not previously disclosed by charging you the pet fee and can result in immediate eviction. DOGS ONLY- maximum 2 dogs, unless previously authorized.
• Please note, this home is near Lake Erie, so you may encounter outdoor insects like spiders or mosquitoes. Refunds will not be issued due to area insects.

It's within a decent distance from the main strip. There's a lot of places to look at the lake. If you plan on swimming in the lake, I would definitely bring a lot of conditioner to get moss out of your hair

Property is very close to busy road, about six feet from cottage. Rather no grass on the property so dog walking is a challenge. The interior is beautiful and nicely furnished, very clean and pleasant. WiFi is sketchy so tv didn’t work much of the time. The property is about a mile or so from the strip with no sidewalks for walking.

Beautiful Place

Very tastefully decorated and clean. We had a party of 4 adults, had everything we needed and enough room. Loved the place. I would recommend this property.

This property was modern and beautiful inside. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels were provided as were extra blankets and pillows. Fridge was very roomy. Kitchen supplies were sparse. The plates were not microwave safe. No salt or pepper shakers, so bring your own. Fireplace remote needed a battery and we were disappointed. I requested a new battery and it never was delivered as promised. Door code was simple to operate. Outdoor area was ugly. Beat up picnic table, no grass and area mostly dust and sparse gravel. We were 5 minutes away from the strip by car. Public beach was beautiful and only 10 minutes away by car. Good restaurant we walked to, The Loft. Food delicious and reasonably priced. We had difficulty finding the place as there was no signage.All in all, we had a wonderful time. We are still interested in renting from Sunset Vacation Rentals next year and would like to try a different place with beach access or view. Large Nice large TV's

Comfortable Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Geneva on the Lake. The check in process was easy (once we realized the actual door to enter is on the opposite side of where you park). The homeowner was incredibly responsive and the house was clean and comfortable. We were surprised at how comfortable the beds were! Location was a little further outside of the town than we were hoping but it was a nice quiet spot. Perfect for the four of us.

Great vaca rental needs grab bar

Wonderfully cute on the inside, not much to look at on the outside, though. And could have used a grab bar in the bathroom. Otherwise, all of our needs were anticipated and met. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful property overall! Right on the Main Road, noisy with traffic and slowing to pull in rude people honk their horns/ yell obscenities. ( of course not the Host’s issue). Pet friendly - need to walk to the grass side of the property . Pull out couch in main room is very uncomfortable to watch TV at. Need a small bed table in the far bedroom.

Geneva-on-the-Lake Getaway

At first glance the unit looked like it was nothing special. When they say you can’t tell a book by its cover they could be talking about this cottage located in Geneva-on-the-Lake. The unit was totally remodeled with full size appliances and modern amenities. This was our first time staying in a VRBO and it was a great learning experience. I contacted the host a couple of times and received immediate responses. We would not hesitate to stay here again

Light

I think the experience would have been better if you would have dark curtains to block off the light from the street. I also think asking your guests to wash the towels and take the linens off the bed is asking a lot, especially since we pay a cleaning fee.

Labor Day Weekend

Only real complaints would be that we had a hard time getting the hallway bathroom door to close & actually had the same problem with the door to the microwave. Both were still useable, just not the easiest. But other wise, everything was great, had a good stay & would consider staying again!

Nice place

It was evident that this place had been recently renovated. Everything looked new. When we walked in, it smelled like someone had been smoking in the place. We were awakened early in the morning by a high pitched alarm. It turns out it was the electronic door entry. I called the property management number. It did take a little bit for someone to respond and come out and fix it. But the person who came, was very nice and apologetic. She explained that the area had been hit hard by a storm earlier in the week and was not sure if they would even have power (we did). This apparently had messed up a lot of these electron ic door accesses. She took care of things right away. There were also some dirty dishes in the dishwasher (I don't know if this was due to the power outage). All in all, the place was very nice. We would stay there again. Could have used a larger fry pan!
