We had a girls weekend and it was the perfect spot. Gorgeous water views ( with an Orca sighting from the deck) , cozy and comfortable beds and furniture and a well appointed kitchen. Great experience and lovely hosts.

Beautiful home with a fantastic view

Whale's Tale is a beautiful home. Wonderful view, including Mt Rainer. Home has everything you need for the stay. Gig Harbor is a lovely town and very close to Seattle. Would highly recommend this Air B N B. Owners were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful , well equipped property with magical views . So peaceful and the gardens were gorgeous with so many outdoor seating options. House was immaculately clean and had everything one would need for a great stay. Excellent and helpful communication with the hosts. Our family loved it and would love to come back next time we are in PNW!

Beautiful and relaxing

My family had a wonderful stay here. The property was so gorgeous and had breathtaking views overlooking the water. We decided to stay in for the majority of our trip just to enjoy the house. The vibes were cozy and had everything we needed. The kitchen amenities were abundant and is perfect if you enjoy cooking. The neighborhood is beautiful and has the perfect mix of trees and ocean views. The hosts were quick to respond and were kind and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely visit again!

Dreamy COMFY waterfront retreat

This is a beautiful waterfront property that is extremely comfortable and well-appointed. The house literally has everything you could need. We slept well, had a firepit once night, and used the grill. We took a long walk on the private stone beach. There are instructions for everything and everything works and looks beautiful. We stayed here to be near our family nearby for a wedding. The host was very nice and accommodating.

Amazing Vacation & Stunning Views

Our party of 6 had an amazing stay at The Whale’s Tale. The back yard is spectacular and the deck provides stunning views of Henderson Bay and Mt Rainier. The house itself was a perfect fit for us - super clean and well appointed, great kitchen for cooking, enough comfy space for 6 guests, gas grill, laundry. We enjoyed down time relaxing at the house and were close enough for day trips to Seattle, Mt Rainier and a trip to the San Juan islands. Our hosts couldn’t be more accessible!! Lauren responded to my many questions pre-booking and during our stay. Our family would highly recommend a stay at The Whale’s Tale.

We will be back!

We loved this home. It didn’t feel like a rental at all. The house was beautiful and the views of Henderson Bay and Mt Ranier were unbelievable. Easy walk to the beach and so lovely to walk near the bay. The kitchen fully equipped as well as the rest of the house. But my favorite part was the gardens! Oh my, the hydrangeas were unbelievable! It was obvious that the owners took care of the grounds. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor furniture-including the hammock and swinging rope chair. Hosts were easy to connect with and walked me through a few things I couldn’t figure out. I have never been to a rental home with houseplants. Lots of attention to detail Thank you for sharing your home with us!
