Beautiful house on the water. Kids could skip rocks and hunt for crabs. We lit a fire a few nights. Couldn’t have been more peaceful and relaxing.

The house was clean, spacious, had pretty decor and in a good location. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay in Olalla. I appreciated the selection of spices in the kitchen and being on the water.

Perfect waterfront place for a family! We had a great time sitting outside and enjoying the views. The market was also delightful and just a short walk.

Everything was wonderful. We were three adults and each room was lovely. The bunk bed room was also a great size for a full-grown adult. That home is wonderfully stocked and has so many places to sit, hang out and enjoy the lovely scenery. It's quite close to Gig Harbor, which has food and grocery stores while also being out of town. Communication was fantastic and check-in was extremely simple. I could not recommend this place more.

Overnight stay

We loved the location close to the water. We were able to see a few seals, a dolphin and an eagle that lives in the area. I wish we had more time to stay.

We had a wonderful, peaceful girls’ getaway this winter! The house was beautiful and right on the water where there were sea lions and bufflehead ducks. The owner was communicative and helpful with any questions we had. Definitely recommend!

Our second time staying here. This is true waterfront with beautiful views and wildlife watching. Great firepit on the water to relax by. The house is updated and comfortable. Great bbq and fire table on the deck.

Wonderful stay!

What a wonderful, relaxing stay in the most beautiful location. Laurie was so sweet with reaching out and nice touches and snacks for a comfortable stay. We loved using the kayaks and paddle boards and the home provided plenty of space for our family of 5. We can’t wait to return again someday!

Wow! The owner furnished this home with all the extra little things that made a very special place feel so welcoming! The property is better than described. Views are amazing. Outside fire pit, grill, large wrap around deck, new patio furniture. Then inside high quality finishes. The kitchen has all the things you would want - even an Instapot! Checkin in was simple. Love this place!! Great location too.

The house was right on the water as described and close to the Olalla Market (walking distance) . It was well appointed and clean. We rented it because a family wedding that we attended and it was perfect. Our host Laurie was also great and very responsive. I would highly recommend staying at this location!

Perfect for a family vacation

This is a lovely home perfect for a family vacation. It is situated right on the water with easy access for kayaking and paddleboarding. We loved the decks, both up and down, with seating to view all the wildlife activity and a firepit table for entertaining. Close to Gig Harbor and the ferries to Seattle and north, we were able to explore this beautiful are area of WA.

Beautiful house right on Colvos Passage! Went swimming and my son even paddleboarded at sunset. The Orcas passed by in the evening.Enjoyed a wonderful time with family. Walked the beach and enjoyed visiting Olalla Bay Market. We contacted the hosts and they were very responsive.

Beautiful location on the beach, stocked very well from games to throw blankets to kitchen ware and pantry. Spacious and open - enough beds/bedrooms for 4 adults and 2 or 3 kids. Several outdoor areas up & downstairs to enjoy the beach view, all with different seating & vibes. Easy access from the Seattle area, and easy drive to Gig Harbor for a visit or Southworth for the ferry.

Girls annual reunion

Beautiful property and home! Just as advertised! I booked this property for our girls group and they all loved it and can’t wait to come back next year for 2 nights instead of 1.

Lawson vacation June 2025

We had a fantastic weekend at this oceanfront house! The view was absolutely stunning—waking up to the sound of the waves and sipping coffee on the deck was pure bliss. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Easy beach access made it perfect for kayaking and the kids playing in the water. We’d definitely love to come back!
