Tranquil blue-green water surround you at this gorgeous beach on the east end of St. Thomas. Views of St. John, the British Virgin Islands and surrounding cays are unparalled. Listen to the sound of the surf from this beachfront condo. Wake up and have your coffee with your toes in the sand! Take a few steps and go for your morning swim. Spend the day windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming or reading a book. Play volleyball, play catch with the kids or fly a kite. Walk back to your fully furnished condo to make yourself a drink and lunch or go to the Beach Buzz or Sapphire Beach Bar. Have dinner at Sea Salt, the beautiful new restaurant overlooking the water, just a short walk fromthe condo. At night take a 5 minute ride to Redhook for a dinner out, or get some groceries and make dinner and eat ocean front. Relax and enjoy. Spend quality time with your mate, friends or children. If you want to explore, there are lots of things to see and do on St. Thomas, Coral World for an underwater without getting wet experience, Tram ride to Paradise Point for spectacular sunsets and entertainment, world famous shopping in downtown Charlotte-Amalie or a day sail on a yacht or a scuba diving lesson. There is a marina on the property and you can walk to your boating excursion first thing in the morning (book it first ofcourse!)

A beachfront paradise

My mom and I booked the trip for the two of us and wouldn’t change a thing! The place was beach front and ocean front with access to everything you need within steps or a short taxi! I am already planning my next trip with Denise!

Relaxing by the sea

We loved our stay at Beach, Bed, and Beyond. The condo was ideally located for our beach wedding and honeymoon. All the basics were provided and we were very comfortable there. Denise was responsive but also unintrusive. We hope to make this an annual trip and would be thrilled to stay in this condo again.

First off, I want to say that the bottom floor condominium was out of this world. It was clean. It had a basic little supplies for us. We spent 10 wonderful days in the C building. We eat at all the restaurants on site and got wonderful recommendations from the employees for other places to go and see you I recommend this to anyone that wants to have a wonderful vacation !

I didn’t want to leave!

We had the best vacation in St. Thomas! Denise’s condo is in the perfect location- right in between the pool and the swimmable section of the beach. Being on the first floor my kids loved having the sand in their front yard. We spent a lot of time on the patio, we watched 4 weddings happen right in front! Some people might not love the fact that chickens and iguanas hang out on the patio looking for food but we absolutely loved watching them. Be sure to close the slider though- we caught a chicken coming in when my daughter didn’t close it all the way! The beach bar is awesome, they had live music one night and the drinks and fries are fantastic. Denise was super responsive, we had to call her twice for minor things and she took action right away. I would 100% rent from her again. Lindquist Beach is only a 4 minute drive from there too- be sure to go at least once, it is absolutely beautiful.

Very clean. Could have used a few wine glasses. Very comfortable bed. Could use some updating. Really enjoyed the easy access to beach and pool. Nice accommodation. Great location.

Great Location, All the Essentials

Location, location, location!!! Being on the first floor (no hiking up/down stairs) with a patio and veranda, with ability to walk out to the beach area was awesome. The unit faces so that it was always shady on the patio/veranda, except in the very early morning (before we were up). The unit is located halfway between the bar/food/shops and the pool, and the beach area is large in front of the unit so that other guests were not walking back/forth directly in front of the unit, lots of privacy considering the location. For dining, we could get great food (burgers, pizza, etc.) at the bar area, or take 5 min taxi ride into Red Hook where there are several good restaurants (make reservations in high season), as well as a grocery store and a drug store. Red Hook is also where the ferry is, which made it easy to get to beautiful Trunk Bay on St. John where the water is crystal clear, the sand is super fine and there's an underwater snorkeling trail. The unit could use some updating but we spent most of our time elsewhere so it wasn't a bother for us. All things considered, it was great!

What I was looking for was a place I could walk out onto the beach. This unit did not disappoint!

Easy check in, property was clean and ready, and it was exactly as the photos and description showed! The location was perfect for getting around and had a wonderful bar/restaurant onsite that offered live music and excellent island service. It was a trip of a lifetime and the unit was a big part of that experience.

Great location & perfect for the Beach

This property is a perfect "beach" studio; not fancy like the Ritz but functionally good. The ground floor location was great to come on/off the beach. Sapphire village is a nice family friendly place and a short $5pp taxi ride to Red Hook.

We love the location of Sapphire Beach and this property is perfectly located. Feels like home with a beach view. We really enjoyed the love seat on the patio. Wonderful property.

Wonderful vacation- amazing view

My husband and 2 children loved this unit. It was our 2nd trip to Sapphire beach and the walk-out beachfront is perfect with a 4 & 7 year old. This room was perfect for our family. It was clean with cute decor and plenty of space for our family. The view from the porch was amazing! There were beach & pool toys and it was awesome to let our kids wake up and play in the sand while we enjoy the view, without packing a beach bag and walk down to the beach. There is plenty of dishes/cooking utensils, pans, etc so we got groceries and cooked. There's even a crockpot which we used to make slow cooked beef bbq with our leftover steak from the night before. The location is perfect between the pool and beach bar/cafe area. I would absolutely rent this unit again and recommend it, especially for families with small children. Thank you Denise for hosting us and for the quick responses to all our questions.

very nice stay, just as described

We stayed four nights and were very satisfied with both the condo and the resort. The onsite coffee/breakfast shop is open 7-2 and has an ATM inside, which is important as you'll find many places (like the beaches) only take cash. Great location very close to Red Hook. As others have noted, the kitchen and bathroom are dated, but everything is clean, which is really all that matters. Our only disappointment was that you can't lock the doors on the back of the unit that lead out to the beach. That made those doors pretty unusable to us other than to go out on the back patio to sit. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions. We would return.

Great little condo

Had a great stay. Awesome little condo and being right off the sand is really nice. No complaints and we'd rent it again. We did smell weed from neighboring units on occasion. Not our thing, kind of an annoyance. Go grocery shopping at the Food Center on the other side of Red Hood, its got the best prices from what we saw.

This was special, read why!!!

Stayed here 10 nights 6-24 to 7/3. I would rate it a 4.7. It's away from the noise of Red Hook, but easy drive or taxi ride to the ferry and night life. Building C in the middle, first floor trumps everything including the constructive feedback you will hear below. To open the sliders, or sit on patio then walk out 25 yards to the water is worth extra money for sure. Close to the pool and the bar area, but away from the activity if it got crowded. Better yet, little or no accumulation of seaweed in front here vs bldg E and F. Owner was very responsive to questions, answered every one and gave great suggestions for places not ordinary when asked. The room was surprisingly quiet and dark at night which was awesome. We had a jeep and traveled all over. Cooked breakfast 5 days and had what we needed, but never cooked lunch or dinner. The bed was firm, but extremely comfortable. Unit was spacious and layed out nicely. The island lost power for 10 hours, but we were only in room for last 4. We couldn't easily find things light flash lights and when wrote owner she replied within 5 mins and found them. The unit does need updated compared to some of the 2nd floor inits we looked at and visited with other guests. BUT, carrying all the stuff ip and diwn gets old. The bathroom needs to be redone, tub slower to drain. Kitchen cabinets and tops are older. Everything is very functional and coming from Florida and staying at beach condos, it was more than what you get all the beaches. Looking at what hurticanes Ivan and Maria did and then Covid-19 shutting things down, this place was perfect for us. Location, location, location. If you are used to the Ritz don't stay at any Sapphire condo. We did go to lunch at Margaritaville and the seaweed stench was so bad we had to leave. Sapphire kept the beach clean every day. We will be back and will ask for this unit. Oh, we spent a full day in St. John's snorkeling 4 beaches, went to Lundquist, Coki, Magens, Secret Harbor 2x, and 3 other beaches... some had the better sand, others had better music but without question the underwater sealife was right out the back door!!! We saw turtles, tons of fish, sea urchins, octopus, seabiscuits, cuddlefish, and other tropical fish. What made this special is we eloped and got married right behind the room under the two palm trees.

Good stay

We always have a good time. We did buy a fan because the bird outside will keep you up all night. We needed the extra noise. I had trouble with the lock but as soon as I figured out how to use it , I was good. Any issue we had, they responded immediately. We had an electric grill which was awesome because we brought meat from home to grill. Overall we had a great trip. We had plenary of towels and extra sheets if we needed them.

Happy Mother’s Day

This trip was to visit our daughter. This location was perfect. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay was included. We didn’t cook while we were there but the unit was set up perfectly had we wanted to. Loved being on ground floor with the walkout from the patio making it perfect to have toes in the sand in seconds. There are not enough words to describe the amazing water views while enjoying our coffee and evening drinks. Centrally located between the beautiful pool and on-site bar/restaurant made it a quiet stay but still close to the action. Would go back in a heartbeat and was sorry to have to leave so soon. Prior to arrival I had multiple questions for the owner over the month before our stay. Each time she was quick to response and so personable to share her stories and suggestions to make our visit so smooth.

I have been coming to Sapphire Beach for over 25 years now! I moved to St. Thomas when I graduated from college and took my first windsurfing lesson here. I worked for engineering and surveying companies on the island for 8 years, spending my weekends windurfing, diving, sailing and exploring other islands. I never grow tired of the beautiful blue-green water or the spectacular weather. I am married now and have twin sons that are 12 now and I have been bringing them back to the islands with my me since they were 2. The beach is a great place for kids, and being beachfront is perfect for little ones, no balconies to fall off! Walk to the pool and beach and back for a nap while mom sunbathes or reads, etc. When the kids get older, teach them to snorkel and sail. There is always something new to learn and do. A day trip to St. John is a favorite, put your car/jeep on the ferrry and drive to Cinnamon Bay in the National Park.

My husband and I came here several times before we had the kids and had a fantastic time windsurfing. The best sailing in the world is here and you can launch right from Sapphire Beach. Now that we have the kids, its been a great place to bring them, the water is so beautiful to swim in.
