Scam do not book. NO STARS

I booked this house over a month before the scheduled booking.Got instant confirmation on booking per website. Received location the week of stay.Upon arrival we contacted host only to be told house was not available. She said she doesn't have access to account.We traveled from Texas to Louisiana to be stranded for over two hours.Host please take this down you are affecting people lives. Vrbo has phone number you can call to take apt off website

Absolute Dump- Filthy

The experience was beyond imagination and one that forced us to pay $$$ at a hotel on a major football weekend. Just could not stay here and subject ourselves to the absolute filth of the place. The issue list is lengthy- could not access to the apartment on late check-in ( most likely a double booking ). No bath towels, only one half roll of toilet paper in the apartment , no bed sheets in the master bedroom, multitude of bugs crawling all over the floor & sink to the lingering smoke ( cigarette and marijuana smell). Main access door was soo warped, you can see between the door and the frame. Neighborhood is very sketchy. Botton line- there is no way this property should be listed for rental. Absolute filth.

Decided to book in a rush so was my bad for giving benefit of the doubt with the 2 reviews posted but PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS ONE. Communication was slow, responses delayed. Our instructions upon arrival were that the door was unlocked, key on the coffee table and the internet was down but the tvs had antennas and Rokus were WiFi enabled. (What?!) We arrived late at night after a 9hr drive and so exhausted that we stayed the night despite the strange smell that burned our eyes. We did feel the need to sleep in our clothes on top of the bed after pulling the covers back to see that the sheets did not appear to be freshly laundered. The apartment looked straightened up but definitely not cleaned well enough to present to someone to rent. There were several areas that didn’t look touched at all, roach tablets thrown on the floor of the apartment that look like smarties candies and a single towel and washcloth for a party of (4) to use for our 6 night stay. I have pics I took upon arrival of everything and the thermostat at 80! We woke early the next morning and tried calling her phone a few times and text and sent messages thru the app that we were not going to be able to stay there because it was unacceptable & wanted a refund There were no instructions about where to leave key upon departure and after an hour of no response I took a video of how we left everything as we found it, put the key under a placemat on kitchen table & locked handle of door. We never heard from her
