Your Wimberley retreat begins at this cozy studio/tiny home. Nestled on a country property just 10 minutes from the square and 5 minutes from Jacobs Well. This lovely retreat offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. With a comfortable room featuring a murphy bed that gives you the option to use the desk/table. The space features centuries old beams, adding to the relaxing atmosphere.
This space backs up to another unit and is next-door to our home. Amenities include a washer and dryer, hair dryer, AC, Wi-Fi, and heating. There are kayaks for you to use on the creek when we are not under drought conditions. There are swings and chairs along the creek for you to relax. There is also an outdoor ping pong table

The Studio/Tiny House was just what I needed for my trip to Wimberly for my brother's wedding. Nice and peaceful and very comfy. Hope it is available next time I'm there.
Cheerful art in the kitchenette area.
Comfy chair for reading and tv watching. Murphy Bed folds up for access to a drop down table.

Rom was small but amazing. The grass had not been cut and was pretty tall but owner explained that it had rained recently and was to wet.

Perfect place

Patty and Kevin were great hosts and more than accommodating. We loved the quaint little unit it was perfect for just the two of us. We had everything we needed. The area is beautiful and we will 100% be back to stay again!

Wonderful hosts! The studio was perfect size, quiet, clean for the 2 of us. Loved the property!! Well stocked! Snacks and drinks for us as well!

The property is gorgeous. We were given some history about some elements of the space by the owner. It was an amazing place to get away while also being close enough to town. The owners were very kind. Highly recommend!!

Relaxing Weekend

My wife and I had two nights very relaxing nights in this quiet little studio. Patti and Kevin were very nice! Kevin met us in the drive, got us situated and left us to enjoy the peaceful environment; which did include seeing deer twice and a couple of foxes (I think they were) on the property. I would definitely return.

Solo Traveler

Very clean and close to town. Great location on Cypress Creek. The unit was very comfortable for just myself and had everything I needed and more! (Including umbrellas, shampoo, conditioner, chips, and little water bottles in the fridge) It is also good to know there is a more permanent tenant who lives behind the studio as others have stated. I never heard them at night and never crossed paths with them but I believe their kitchen must back up to the studio. I could hear every single beep on the microwave, every drawer opening and closing, and every single sneeze that they made because the walls are so thin. Like I said not a problem since they were so quiet at night, but I could not take a nap during the daytime and it did keep me up. Just bring a little noise maker or ear plugs. It's too good of a little studio and the owners are too kind to knock it down for that reason.

We live in Wimberley Texas. We’ve lived in LA, Alabama, Ohio, DC, Georgia, Texas , Virginia and Moscow.

We’ve like to host because we love it here in Wimberley. When we built our house we also built the studio for our guests. At first we were thinking of only hosting family but our kids have jobs and they have to split their vacation time between us and their spouses family. So they don’t come as often as we thought and so we decided to list as a short term rental. Nothing better than having guests say how much they loved staying here.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We like Wimberley because it’s not a typical small town. People who live here have come from all over. People who could live anywhere have chosen to live here. Yet there is a sense of community and also an appreciation of our visitors.

The natural beauty is very much appreciated by the townspeople and visitors. Cypress creek is a major attraction. The studio is on 4 acres on Cypress Creek and both our neighbors have 4 acres on the creek. Our house is on the same property as the studio.

Wimberley is a unique small town and there is lots to do, restaurants, shops, breweries rivers and parks. We have 4 acres and are on Cypress Creek.
