Great location, right on the river. The house was well equipped and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. We will be back in other season.

Check in and out was a breeze, the house could use some deep cleaning outside.The inside of the house parts of it was remodeled, but very very clean!We would stay again

Amazing river views and idyllic location to launch a kayak, tube float, or fish. Extreme wildlife sightings including close encounters with a family of bald eagles that live in the area. Callicoon is 5 minutes away and a nice small town that has a a variety of restaurants to choose from or grocery store if you want to grab food to cook or snack on. Nice place-I’d definitely go back.

Cozy visit during storm

We arrived at the house late on a Thursday night. No issues getting in and the property was exactly as described. When we awoke Friday morning, we saw how close we were to the Delaware - literally feet away! That was great, though we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors due to tropical storm Debby. The house was minutes from historic (and adorable) Calicoon where we went for meals. It was only 20 mins to Bethel where we caught a show Friday night. Only suggestion is adding utensils, plates and cups.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed the stay The kitchen was brand new and newly installed. My fault I didnt open the boxes of brand new dishes cups and utensils. They were all under the sink and in the closets. I wish you would have contacted me. You were a pleasure to have as guest and I hope that you stay again Many ammenities will be added soon Hot tubs , jacuzz, fireplace and more

I stayed at this house in Damascus, Pennsylvania from January 1 to 4 through Vrbo, and what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into a complete nightmare. On January 3, the propane ran out in the evening, and the heating stopped working entirely. The host knew the gas was low but didn’t bother to arrange for any backup heating options. The split system in the house was already disconnected from electricity, so we couldn’t even use that. We had to tough it out overnight in a freezing 59-degree house—it was miserable and ruined our whole trip.On top of that, the cleaning was absolutely terrible. Dust everywhere, the carpets were filthy and full of grime—it felt like no one had vacuumed or deep-cleaned in ages.There was barely any dishware, and what little there was came dirty. We tried to wash it in the dishwasher, but there were no tablets provided, so we were stuck hand-washing everything or dealing with the mess.The place desperately needs some basic cosmetic repairs, but the host clearly doesn’t care. The staircase to the second floor is a hazard with sharp edges on the steps, and the dining chairs wobble so badly they feel like they’re about to fall apart.Overall, I’m extremely disappointed and would never recommend this property. Our vacation was totally spoiled because of these issues—avoid at all costs!

Im sorry thay you didnt enjoy your stay but that is a complete lie. Everything in the place is brand new ans immaculately kept You called before hand because there was a storm. I explained that road conditions were terrible. You decided to come any way Im sorry that the stormruined your stay. If it was so terrible and ditry I ask why did yu not leave the first night.? My guest have found my place to be relaxing and beautiful . Sorry that you did not have the same experience
