This home is the closest rental to the entrance of DuPont State Park. Brand new 2 story home with a private hot tube, Sauna, and game room that has a pool table and other games! Only 0.4 miles to the DuPont parking lot- this home offers the ideal location for hikers and bikers that want to enjoy the park and not have to worry about parking when the lots are full. After your hike you can enjoy the sauna or hot tube while grilling by the fire pit! This is the ultimate family home being that it is two stories with an upstairs and downstairs kitchen. Great for large groups and families with kids. We look forward to hosting you :)

Amazing house. Great vibe, and better location. Close to 2 cute towns, and less than a mile to great hikes and waterfalls. Great for a families and would highly recommend. Also, the hot tub and sauna were an extra plus.

The host was extremely responsive to any questions we had which made things go very smoothly! The space was laid out perfectly for our two families for a long weekend. The game room was also a huge hit! Location was exactly what we were looking for as well. Just down the road from the trail entrances and an easy drive over to Brevard.

DuPont Gem

Our family really enjoyed the proximity to all of the hiking in DuPont State Forest. It is also a convenient drive to Brevard or attractions in Pisgah like sliding rock. Thank you for the lovely stay in N.C.

We stayed here while our daughter attended sleep away camp for 2 weeks. My husband and I worked daily from the house. The Wi-Fi was amazing. The house was clean, well supplied and had a nice wooded location. We had great access to hiking trails. We would stay again!

Great Stay

My family and I stayed at this home for 2 nights. The home was exactly as pictured. It was very clean. The hot tub and game room was amazing. Great internet speed. House was fully stocked. Great communication with host. Would definitely recommend.

MTB vacation

Our family loves to mountain bike. This property couldn't have had a better location to access the Dupont trails. The house is clean and comfortable with lots of room for our family of 5. The deck has really nice sun exposure and is protected from the wind. 5 stars!

New Year 2024/2025

Our family stayed three nights. Max the host was incredibly responsive and addressed all questions timely to make sure we were comfortable. Peacefully quiet neighborhood. Cabin was easy to find, and as advertised, clean, and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub, games room and sauna a bonus. Definitely return for another stay. Thanks for having us.

This was a 10/10 experience from beginning to end! Max the host was incredible. He responded to my questions so quickly. The careful thought that was put into this property and all it has to offer made our family thanksgiving vacation all that more special. It’s one of the those properties that you think “oh this is going to be awesome!” And then, you get there and the word “awesome” just doesn’t quite cut it. From the amazing hot tub, game room, well equipped and pretty kitchen, beds, bathrooms, deck space, the fire pit, and my favorite touch, the strung up bistro lights illuminating the property. Not to mention the incredible location to Pisgah, the numerous falls, and overlooks. This is going to be a core memory for my family. We described this vacation as “one for the ages.” This was possible because of the host Max and incredible attention to detail and hospitality. We can’t thank you enough to Max and Vrbo for making this memory for us exceed our expectations.

Perfect mountain getaway!

Upon arrival we were very happily surprised at this property. After checking in, I realized that this home had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of bathroom products and the kitchen is full of absolutely everything you would need to cook, including spices! I am a chef and there was no lack of anything in the kitchen. We travel with all of our own board games and realized that we didn’t even need them, they have so many already. The deck and yard were both very clean. Beds and furniture were all very comfortable. This is also in walking distance to Hooker Falls and DuPont State forest. We found that walking was easier than driving due to parking at the park. We stay at plenty of VRBO’s and this one is a 10/10. We will gladly return as a family in the future. I applaud the host for having such a great property! Thank you so much for such a great weekend get away! (We had three teens, one younger child, and 4 adults. Plenty of room for everyone!)
