Welcome to the Place of Peace Estate. The House of Love is the 1st developed property of the estate. This large spacious home is well designed and appointed with 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. Detailed with high end features including quartz countertops, soft close cabinets, crown molding/trim, 8ft kitchen island with prep sink, 5 burner gas cooktop and energy efficient appliances & lighting. Designed with an open concept living, eating, & kitchen area. This home gives the designer touch.

Very comfortable house, modern, clean, beautiful view from mAster and living room and dinning room of the ocean. There is no one ati you. So we enjoyed the privacy. You can walk down to rocky sound waters, but for beach you go to multiple spots along the coast on eluethra.

Nice but Needs Some Love…

Our 4 night stay was okay but could have been much better with a bit more attention to both the house itself and to the communication.Upon arrival, the power was out. We’re familiar with power outages on island but without WiFi and sketchy cell service in the area, we had to drive 20 minutes down the road to inquire about the outage. We learned from the host- we never did get a response from the property manager- that there was a scheduled power outage that day and power would be back on in a few hours. Would have been good to know this before we arrived.The dishwasher was not working, there was a sign posted for this. The temp in the refrigerator was only ‘freezing’. The was broken as well and we couldn’t adjust it. Learned that overnight when we found frozen milk, fruit, juice, etc the next morning. We started our first day by throwing out about 30 worth of frozen food that should not have been frozen.On the bedroom windows, there are no curtains, only shears, providing no room darkening/ privacy, especially from the vehicle lights on the main highway.There were very limited bath towels and washcloths,which we could have resolved but there was no laundry soap.The AC worked well, the house was spacious and the view was as pictured . This house is right on the main road so traffic could be noisy at times.A few more bath towels, a better working fridge and a bit more communication would have made this a better stay.For the price, there should have been more value.

I would like to take this opportunity to address some of your concerns. 1. Regarding the scheduled power outages, as soon as we became aware of them, we promptly shared that information with you. 2. The dishwasher is not listed as an amenity in our property description. While we understand the convenience of having one, it was not something that should have been expected. 3. The issue with the refrigerator freezing was not brought to my attention until the day of your departure when you casually mentioned it. Had we been notified earlier, we would have promptly arranged for a resolution during your stay. 4. I understand your concern about privacy and appreciate your feedback regarding the curtains. The sheer panels were intentionally chosen to allow guests to enjoy the property's scenic views in a secluded setting. However, your suggestion has been duly noted for future consideration. 5. We provided 6–8 sets of towels for your four-night stay. If you required additional towels, we would have been happy to provide them had you reached out. Additionally, laundry detergent is not listed as a provided essential, but we do supply soap, toilet tissue, dish detergent, and basic cooking essentials. Throughout your stay, I checked in to ensure your comfort, especially after learning about the power outages. At that time, you stated that "everything is fine and we are enjoying our stay." We always strive to offer the best possible service, but we can only address concerns that are communicated to us. Regarding pricing, House of Love is a spacious, modern, and well-appointed four-bedroom home that accommodates up to eight guests. With updated appliances, quartz countertops, and two en suite bathrooms, we believe the pricing reflects the value offered. Compared to hotel accommodations, securing a room for two guests at $275 per night can be a challenge, and we believe a four-bedroom beachfront home offers exceptional value. If House of Love did not meet your expectations, I sincerely apologize. Should you choose to stay with us again in the future, we would love the opportunity to exceed your expectations.
