Very highly recommend staying here. The hosts were very gracious and made sure to stay in touch and offer plenty of recommendations and heads up for things going on in the area at the time you are visiting. They put together an excellent guide book with plenty of activities, restaurants, and night life recommendations. The place itself is exactly as advertised. Very cozy and inviting. They made a lovely space here.

Amazing property at amazing location. Brad and Cori go above and beyond in being the best hosts ever! We are a family with a 2 year old and had a ton of requests than a regular guest. They were so accommodating of all of that, including giving us a high chair to use. We became good friends. Hopefully we visit them again soon!

It's an easy trip out of the bay, to experience things you just can't there. *We have a TON of Bay area and LA friends move to Portland, Simply for the amazing quality of living and cost vs space. Our neighb ors are SF transplants,, and loving every minute of it. When you fin d the right neighborhood, it makes all the difference.

Bradley’s apartment was by far the nicest VRBO we’ve ever encountered. Every element has been carefully considered with the guest’s comfort in mind. Not only is it a very thoughtfully designed space, it’s also wonderfully appointed and so cosy! The mattress is both cloud soft and supportive. The kitchen is roomy and workable, with all the gear and appliances you need. The living room is comfy and the bathroom is sleek, clean and modern. And on top of all this the overall aesthetic of the space is calming and playful. (The lighting alone is so much fun - there are lasers!) It’s just an awesome and completely comfortable space to hang out in. Bradley is an exemplary host - friendly, responsive and accommodating. I just can’t say enough positive things about him, his place, and our stay. I would happily stay here again.

Irvington Gem

We have stayed at numerous locations in the Irvington area when visiting family and this has been by far the best. Brad and Cori were great hosts making sure our experience was as pleasant and comfortable as possible. This will be our go to place to stay in the future

Great Space

We loved the warmth and the layout of the space. We had everything we needed, and it was just a very comfortable stay. The hosts are incredibly responsive, and accommodating, we will try to stay here whenever it is just my wife and I going to Portland to visit our son.Thank you

Comfortable, quiet and thoughtfully curated, Brad and Cori have literally thought of everything important to a comfortable stay. We were warmly welcomed to this spacious apartment in historic Irvington. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are inviting. I would recommend without hesitation.

Cozy Portland apartment

What a great basement apartment! Such a nice place with indoor and outdoor living space in a wonderfully cute and safe neighborhood! Bradley was such a great host answering all of my questions before arriving and being super helpful & accommodating during our stay! If you find yourself in Portland, I highly recommend this apartment for your stay!

Absolutely fantastic

My stay was comfortable and truly relaxing at this place. The hosts are warm, welcoming and friendly. The neighbourhood is fantastic with property that is centrally located and walking distance from nearby stops and cafes. I felt safe walking around the neighbourhood and enjoyed going to the cafes in the vicinity. Really the best experience. !!!

This cozy Apartment was extraordinary and had everything we needed. The Foosball table was unexpected and fun.The Design overall was Artful and inspired with much thought and passion obviously.We found the Hosts most helpful, friendly, andReadily available for anything we might need.We hope to someday return to this very peaceful abode.

Great neighborhood. Close to everything. Lots of restaurants you can walk to. Really sweet outdoor patio space, and great accessible parking. Owners were really great, and had the best and most thorough Welcome book I have ever seen. Livingroom foldout bed was good enough for my teen, but overall probably best for a couple instead, as the bedroom itself was great with a huge king-sized bed and cool lighting. It is a garden-level space, and is a bit damp if you don't stay on top of emptying the de-humidifier, which was not a big deal for us. My kids LOVED the shower and the loaner bathrobes, and we had a game night with the electric darts and fooseball table. Overall, we had a great experience.

Thank you so much for your hospitality. We really enjoyed staying at this place. Everything was as described, clean room, nice bed and amenities, and great location. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We loved looking at all the trees and plants in the yard and having supper at the back table. We will definitely stay again at this place when we come back to Portland!

My wife and I moved to Portland, Oregon 27 years ago, having grown up in the Mid-West- Minneapolis and Wisconsin after graduating from Design school. We have owned our 1911 Colonial Revival house in Irvington for 18 years. Travel has been a huge part of our lives. We have lived as ex-pats in Amsterdam, NL, and Jakarta, Indonesia, and have traveled to a combined 75 countries all over the world, and have visited almost every state in the USA. Hospitality is something we love, as well as sharing our knowledge of having lived in the Pacific Northwest and Portland most of our life. We have deep knowledge of all the local restaurants, shopping streets, music venues, and outdoor activities to do around the city and around the greater area. We enjoy sharing all this knowledge with our guests to make their visit to Portland exceptional and memorable.

The Irvington neighborhood is located in the Northeast section of Portland, Oregon. The neighborhood traces its history to the William and Elizabeth Irving Donation Land Claim of 1851 as well as several small adjoining subdivisions. The neighborhood streets were laid out in 1887, and residential lots began selling in 1891.
An early example of a streetcar suburb, Irvington contains the largest, most diverse, and intact collections of Queen Anne, Arts and Crafts, and Colonial Revival style residences in the City of Portland as well as the State of Oregon. In 2010, Irvington was designated an historic district and added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Our house is an original 1911 Colonial Revival Craftsman, which we have lovingly renovated over the years. The lower level has been 110% "designed" from ground up, taking inspiration from our world travels and blending it with the classic feel of the house with a modern feel. _ everything is custom built and fully permitted. There was NOTHING down there when we moved in, no windows, no plumbing, no walls, nothing. We always wanted to create the most amazing guest suite ever! In a great location, for friends and family to use. Now, we make it into a business, to share with visitors from around the country and around the world. We have luxury accommodations- the most comfortable bed you can imagine! A spacious spa like bathroom, A huge loft like open concept living area with a full kitchen, tall dining table, work station, and entertainment area. Outside you will have your own private patio with water feature and Southwest sun exposure, and access to a lush tropical like back yard with raised a raised deck eating area and umbrella. Come 'smell the roses in our rose garden, or relax and read a book. We have created the ultimate private apartment for our guests to enjoy. Our location is IDEAL for exploring Portland. Close in and centrally located with restaurants and coffee shops within a block. Walk to the Mona Center where our NBA team, The Blazers play, or the Portland Convention Center. It's 10 minutes to downtown, and to almost any neighborhood in Portland. Take a stroll around the beautiful historic neighborhood with giant trees and amazing houses. Really, everything is SO close!
