Perfect for couples, small families, business travelers, or extended stays, this bright and private cottage offers the comfort of home in one of Portland’s most convenient neighborhoods. Located in the quiet Hollywood/Grant Park area, you’ll be just 15 minutes from downtown Portland and PDX Airport, with easy access to I-84 and public transit.
Relax by the fireplace after a day exploring the city, walk to neighborhood cafés and parks, and enjoy a peaceful stay away from the downtown crowds.
This detached guest cottage sits behind our beautifully maintained 1912 Craftsman bungalow and was thoughtfully designed to blend historic Portland charm with modern comfort and privacy.
Inside you’ll find:
+ Bright, open living space with abundant natural light
+ Cozy fireplace and comfortable seating area
+ Queen-sized Serta pillow-top mattress
+ Quality linens, plush towels, and thoughtful touches throughout
+ Fully equipped kitchen for longer stays or home-cooked meals
+ Air conditioning and fast Wi-Fi
+ 1.5 bathrooms
The living room sofa converts into a double bed, allowing the cottage to comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests (please let us know if you'll be using the sofa bed so that we can provide linens). Extra linens are available upon request.
There is also room upstairs for a portable crib or pack-n-play (not provided).

The bungalow was the perfect amount of space for my spouse and I. Fantastic location, very walkable and close to bus stops and light rail. Lots of natural light with skylights on the second floor. Would definitely try to stay here again.

Wonderful space!
Cottage was perfect for us. Hosts were easy to work with and were very accommodating. Enjoyed our stay there. Location was great for all our day trips around the area.

This was one of the best stays I've ever had. The cottage was immaculately clean and well-cared for. Every detail was in place including kitchen utensils and appliances. Everything worked beautifully and it was well-appointed with tasteful decor and craftmanship. The bed was super comfortable and cozy, the bathroom smart (loved the sky light there), and the fireplace was perfect for the cool evening. The hosts were super nice and responsive and the neighborhood safe and beautiful. If (when) I go back to Portland, I hope to be able to stay at this property. You won't be disappointed.

Great place to stay!
We really enjoyed staying at the cottage! It was clean & met all our needs; it became our base for exploring Portland & the surrounding area. Very communication with our hosts; we appreciated their quick responses. We would stay again if we come back to Portland!

This place was beautiful. It was the perfect size. It had everything you could think of, perfect location. The owner was amazing, and great communication. The rosemary bush and the smell was fantastic! The beautiful hydrangeas out front made it even more welcoming. We will definitely be staying here again if we ever come back to Portland!

Short stay in Portland
Such a nice and clean rental in a cute neighborhood! Lots of lights inside and pretty flowers outside. It was perfect for our party of 3! The owner was super helpful and responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return soon!

Perfect place to stay that has everything
Clean, comfortable, charming place to stay. We stayed for 4 very enjoyable nights. The hosts Jeff and Satish are wonderful, attentive, responsive. Great neighborhood. Quiet. Easy to get to off the freeway.

Cute, quiet, clean
The cottage was very clean and quiet (so relaxing!) and made you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The neighborhood is beautiful and within walking distance of restaurants and grocery stores, which was great. Hosts were quick to respond to questions, would definitely stay here again!

We built this cottage in 2015 to complement the style and character of our 1911 Craftsman bungalow. We wanted to preserve the classic charm and architecture of the neighborhood while creating a modern, comfortable retreat for guests. From the outside, the cottage reflects Portland’s timeless bungalow style, while inside you’ll find all the modern comforts of home.
We chose this neighborhood because it offers the best of Portland living—quiet, walkable streets with easy access to downtown, restaurants, cafés, parks, and public transportation. One of the things we enjoy most is how convenient and connected everything feels here. Whether biking, walking, driving, or taking the MAX, it’s easy to explore nearly every part of the city from this central location.
