Yarrow at Academy Place

Academy Place Yarrow is one of our luxurious townhomes located in the multiplex building around the Academy Place Courtyard. The open space between the building and the street allows for fantastic views of Mt. Crested Butte from the primary bedroom, while the other side of the building faces the beautiful courtyard. Academy Place is just a short walk from bus stops, Elk Avenue, and the grocery store. It is located just across the street from Crested Butte’s new Center for the Arts, with wonderful events to attend. Academy Place fully opened for the first time in 2025, meaning this building is equipped with extremely up-to-date appliances and furnishings, ready for your use!

Upon entry, Yarrow has a living/dining space with a large television, counter space for additional seating, and powder room. On the other side of the space, Yarrow has a fully equipped kitchen with full-sized appliances and cookware, including a large refrigerator, espresso machine, drip coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, wine fridge, and dual-sided sink. The counter space is ample for your cooking needs, and the kitchen is stocked with cookware such as pots, pans, dishes, large bowls, etc. Upstairs, the primary suite has a large king bed with views of Mt. Crested Butte, a walk-in closet, and an expansive bathroom featuring a soaking tub and a steam shower. Downstairs, Yarrow has a king bedroom, full sized washer and dryer, full bathroom, and a queen/twin bunk bed.

As compared to other Academy Place units, Yarrow is identical to Columbine in layout. The only differences are that Yarrow is closer to Whiterock Avenue rather than the alley, and they may have different colored blankets and decorations. Yarrow is less expensive overall than other townhomes because it does not have a rooftop patio with a hot tub, while other townhome units do. Additionally, because it is a townhome, it does share walls with other units, though they are completely separate with private entrances. As a townhome, Yarrow boasts spectacular views that aren’t visible from the cottages, though Yarrow has two full bathrooms and a half bath rather than three and a half in the cottages. Essentially it is a matter of preference, whether you’d prefer your cottage with one more bathroom or the views! You truly cannot go wrong with either choice, Academy Place is wonderful from both unit types.
