The house was just right for my family and our fall break trip. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. I left something behind and they mailed it back to me. Will stay here again!!!

We had a wonderful experience here. The home was well decorated and very clean with many details to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The lake views from the house are panoramic, lake access from the dock is easy, and there are multiple outdoor gathering areas to enjoy the peaceful setting. We will definitely be back!

Our family enjoyed a long weekend here and had a wonderful time. The house was super clean and very well equipped. The host is so easy to work with and stayed in good contact with us. I would definitely recommend this house.

Such a beautiful house! We had a great visit. Communication was excellent and everything was clean and as described. We loved having the lily pad and spending hours playing and swimming off the dock. Owners were great. Beautiful sunset view!

This place was absolutely perfect. Plenty room for our tritoon and lots of parking space for the boat and trailer. Had everything we needed and the house was immaculate! Host was very responsive and awesome. Stayed in several places on the lake and this was by far the best. We will definitely be back next year. Finally found our perfect spot for our yearly Lake Martin vacation!

Perfect lake house for a family vacation. House is furnished well and has all amenities needed to enjoy the lake.

Beautiful home

We had a great 4th of July vacation at Water’s Edge. Not on the main water but has a nice view and has less boat traffic than other nearby areas. The outside area and fire pit would be great for a stay after the summer season when weather is cooler.

Best getaway!

Our family of five had the best stay at Water’s Edge! Our host was so helpful and responsive. The property was clean and beautifully decorated. They had anything you could need while traveling, from shampoo to first aid kit, everything was thought of by the owners. We will definitely be booking again!

Fantastic stay and a place we would absolutely book again! The location is excellent, easy to get to, incredibly quiet and peaceful, and exactly the serene Lake Martin setting we wanted. By boat, multiple marinas are only minutes away, and there’s a marina about five minutes away by car. Alexander City is roughly 30 minutes away, with plenty of restaurants, groceries, and anything else you might need.The house is modern, updated, clean, comfortable, and very inviting. Comfortable beds, great A/C, seriously awesome ceiling fans, smart TVs throughout, a well-equipped kitchen, grill, plenty of outdoor seating, and a screened-in porch with its own TV.The waterfront is fantastic. The dock has plenty of room to fish, relax, or enjoy the view. We brought our boat, and the floating dock made getting on and off incredibly easy. The water is beautiful and almost clear, with the cool emerald-green tint Lake Martin is known for. Half the time, we just swam right there. The whole area feels peaceful and friendly. There’s also a fire pit and plenty of outdoor lighting at night.We had six adults plus a baby and never felt cramped. There was ample room for everyone. Pate was an excellent host. Always quick to respond, proactive, and helpful throughout our stay. They're total pros!Everything about our visit was beyond pleasant. Great house, great location, beautiful waterfront, and genuinely relaxing. You really can’t go wrong here. We’ll absolutely be back!

Amazingly Cozy House

We had the absolute best day at this cute little Lake Martin house. The beds were extremely comfortable, It was very well stocked, And it had absolutely everything we needed. The owner communication was outstanding , And she made everything so easy for us. Our children really enjoyed Fishing every morning, Location on the lake was perfect . We would definitely stay here again and Look forward to going back
