Property was great, host was responsive and the dock on the water was fantastic. Our family of 4 had a nice stay. Just note the one bedroom is apart from the other one with no bathroom which may not be great for all people.

The title perfectly describes the cabin—peaceful, private & cozy on a quiet & beautiful lake not far from Bellingham, WA. The accommodations were very comfortable; the kitchen wonderfully well-stocked, and the cabin beautiful. We had a wonderful time—thanks so much!

This is one of our favorite VRBO rentals in recent years. The lake view is just amazing, the cabin is charming and had everything we need. We loved it!

We had a fantastic stay. Everything was perfect, peaceful and such a beautiful spot. The addition of having use of kayaks, canoe and a paddle board made it that much more fun. Best place I’ve ever stayed.

Friends Trip 2024

Our stay at Cain Lake was amazing! Not only was the cabin cozy, clean, and cute, but the views and time spent on the deck and dock were lovely! We had a great time relaxing and exploring the surrounding areas! Definitely planning to come up again!!

Beautiful location! Everything was top notch. It really was the best. The little comvience store down the road was a life saver for the few things food/medicine things we forgot to pack. The lake and all the amenities to be able to join the lake were excellent. Would highly recommend!

Lovely cabin!

The cabin is a wonderful combination of modern conveniences and charming log cabin. We were there in November so I can't rate the lake for swimming, but the lake view is beautiful. We were very happy there, and hope to return some day!

When we travel, we like to stay in places where we can cook. This kitchen is one of the most beautifully appointed kitchens we’ve ever seen. It was really a joy. The area is extremely quiet, and we loved being able to kayak and swim in the lake. Communications were wonderful, and highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a peaceful vacation. It’s relative proximity to Bow Edison was a big plus, too. Great places to eat there.

Cabin at the Cain Lake

Beautiful view, kayaks and private access to the lake. Spacious and very well equipped kitchen, cozy and comfortable cabin with a fireplace; nice outdoor area with a couple of tables and bbq grill. Note - there are 2 bedrooms but one is located in a separate building above the garage (so if you are traveling with kids - that might matter). Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Overall we had a great time!

Stunning Lakefront Oasis

What a relaxing and fantastic weekend we had! The house was super clean and so cozy. Great fireplace and the views of the lake were spectacular! Only 1 bathroom, but we made it work - and there is a separate bedroom above the garage. Great privacy. The kitchen was well laid out and had almost everything we needed. Loved the upstairs loft for hanging out and relaxing! Looking forward to another stay in the future! Thanks Connie!

This was such a lovely stay for a long weekend. We swam and grilled and played board games, kayaked and canoed. Everything we love to do with family! My teen loved having a room off to himself above the garage, and my younger kiddo thought the couch pullout was very comfortable. The yard and garden are lovely and we saw lots of birds, deer and two gardener snakes! The property feels like a cabin but has a very comfortable kitchen and a lovely bath that my 6’6” husband could use the shower in. We loved that the lake doesn’t have motors on it and it’s so peaceful and quiet. We can’t wait to come back!

The amenities for the lake were amazing from the kayaks to the chairs to sit at the dock. The view was spectacular. The house was cute and quaint. The kitchen had everything we needed. The grill was easily accessible and covered so you could grill if it was raining. There was three different spots to sit, two on the decks and on in the grassy area. We seen a few animals on our walks down to the dock (snake, rabbit and a few slugs :) ) It was close to Bellingham which we went on a whale watching tour which was amazing. The town had a lot of shops and restaurants. All around I would definitely revisit this VRBO if I came back to Washington.

We had a great vacation at this property. Beautiful view of Cain Lake from the deck. Easy to use dock on property with one paddle board, two kayaks, and one canoe. Life jackets were provided. Peaceful lake, perfect for paddle boarding. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful kitchen. Nice and cozy cabin. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
