To ensure the long-term comfort of our guests, the Waikiki Grand Hotel will be undergoing vital plumbing improvements from mid-July through late December 2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. With no work on Weekends, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Day. Daytime noise and activity should be expected.

Perfectly situated in Waikiki. The unit has everything you would need for a short or long stay. Front desk and other staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the pool. Host very responsive. We will come back to Oahu and hope to stay there again

I would totally stay here again! Having direct access to the beach was amazing and having shops nearby was a huge plus. Check in was a breeze and the host was friendly and communicative.

Cons: —The room was more run down than I was expecting. —There was only lukewarm water from the shower throughout my 6-day stay. —Both the shampoo and body wash was finished when I arrived. Neither had been refilled. Pros: —The location is excellent. —The staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly. —There’s a full kitchen in the room: stove, fridge, microwave, plates, silverware, etc. —The 2nd floor bar is fun.

Was a decent place. But 3 days into trip microwave stopped working, and stove top hot plate thing took forever to heat up, eneded wasting a lot of food $$, and time on this. Also had construction going on in the am, was told, o its ocer at 3 everyday, i was on vacation not a good deal when trying to relax. Didnt get much help from owner , would not stay here again because of that.

The room was on an alley so we couldn’t have our windows open at night because it was so noisy. The air-conditioning ran extremely loud, which made it difficult to sleep.. The floors had sand upon arrival and the handles to the kitchen drawers and the bathroom were dirty.The pullout bed was extremely uncomfortable. The bed was nice.It was an excellent location. They provided a lot of towels, including beach towels, boogie boards, ironing board, umbrella, blow dryer which was very nice. Including all the kitchen essentials.

We had a pleasant stay overall. There was a minor plumbing issue, but it was promptly addressed the next day. We appreciated the quick response.

Dishes were dirty and no warning about the coffee maker that clearly over flows regularly by the mess I cleaned up in addition to mine. Some regular drinking glasses would be nice as well. Not really good for 3 adults. Pull out bed is old and not level.

This is in a great spot & close to everything around Waikiki. We only had one big issue during our stay. Power was lost in our building & nobody came around to inform us of the issue. After using the contacts provided it still took some time to actually speak to someone. The outage lasted approximately from 3:30 am-6:30 pm which sucked as I had work to do while on vacation. The management team sent me an email stating that we’d receive a 75 refund to which we still haven’t seen yet. But besides that one issue. The place is really nice & cozy. We’d definitely give this place another try in the future. All in all, great location & nice lil room. The staff needs a bit more training on how to handle any future issues to get information to their guests.

I had a great 8-day stay at the Waikiki Grand Hotel. The location is unbeatable—just steps from Waikiki Beach and within walking distance of the zoo, aquarium, restaurants, shops, and convenience stores.The room matched the description and offered excellent value. Check-in was easy, and the staff, including front desk and security, were consistently friendly and professional.The room stayed comfortable with cold A/C and a ceiling fan. The main bed was comfortable for two, and the pullout sofa added extra space, though its mattress was quite thin.Amenities were plentiful, including a TV, iron, hair dryer, and a well-equipped kitchenette with utensils, cookware, and appliances. The refrigerator worked well, and while the stove heated slowly, it functioned properly.Beach gear like towels, boogie boards, an umbrella, and water toys was a great bonus. I also appreciated the tradition of guests leaving items behind—we contributed snorkeling fins and goggles for future visitors.
