Gordon Lane Carriage House

New construction "carriage house" on East Gordon Lane. This is a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment above the detached garage. The yard area is shared with the main house. There is no shared interior space. Guests will have a private bathroom & full kitchen. There is a TV in the bedroom as well as a TV in the living room. Guests may use one garage spot underneath the apartment. There is a EV charger in the garage for guest use along with a washer and dryer (please bring your own detergent).

If you have a boat or a trailer you may pay $25 per day extra to park it in the yard next to the carriage house.

This spot is about half a mile walking distance to Forsyth Park and River Street. It is close to the downtown grocery store (Kroger) as well as many shops and cafes.

The accommodations were lovely - just perfect for a long weekend getaway for two. The location is walkable to Forsyth Park and downtown and an easy drive to Tybee Island.

Apartment was perfect for our one night stay! Great location, had everything you needed and huge bonus was it included parking. Hosts were super responsive and even helped out when I had left something behind. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great place for a couple to stay. Nicely decorated and well equipped in a very convenient location. Parking a minivan in the garage was a bit of a challenge, but it was OK because we didn’t need the car since everything was close enough to walk to for the three days that we were there. We are very happy that we chose this apartment and would highly recommend it.

Very nice place to stay. The garage is tricky to pull in and out of in an Elantra, but if youre an agile driver, no sweat! We barely spent gas since this location is so central. Definitely walkable if youre up for it. Very quiet, and the garage door opener to take with you is top notch host behavior! Thanks a bunch 10/10

Everything about the carriage house itself was wonderful. It was clean and well stocked. The location was great for walking to many restaurants and Forsyth Park. Having a garage to park in, was more valuable than we imagined. The challenging part was finding it. We had directions, but there is no sign that says Gordon Lane, it is truly an alley. Other than the few extra mins it took to locate the carriage house, everything was as promised.

The place was clean and well equiped. It was quite easy to get to places by foot and car. The garage was great to keep our vintage car safe and the neighborhood was safe.

Great location for visiting Savannah by foot We parked in the garage and left the car there until we left . It's about 10-15 minutes (walking) to much of the historic district and about 20 to the waterfront. Cottage was well kept and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again
