Great location in the cute town outside the park. Plenty to do at the house by the flowing river. Outside cooking and eating area made for a great family feel.

Love the place. Very comfortable for our group. Love that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Also love the sound of the river from the bedroom, so calming.

The house was perfect for our family of ten, it exceeded our expectations. The proximity to the park was perfect. We loved the peacefulness and even saw a bear on the property, which was very exciting . The house was very clean and had games, books, and puzzles for the kids. The outdoor area was beautiful with a very nice deck, grass yard and stream behind the house. Our family enjoyed playing in the stream after a day of hiking in Sequoia National Park.Thank you!Pat Jennings

Gorgeous setting; well appointed home.We were a group of 10 visiting Sequoia National Park for a milestone birthday. The house is generously proportioned and designed. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, the living area is spacious, the kitchen is large and easy to use. The highlight though is the deck overlooking the river, and the river itself. We spent a lot of time wading and swimming in the river. There is also an outdoor grill and firepit which was also simply wonderful. A welcoming place to come back to after exploring the park during the day.

This rental was a dream! It had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. The home is spacious and the kitchen was adequately stocked with essentials needed to cook our meals. The private walkway to the river was nice and the sounds of the river in the backyard made it feel so serene. Great location very close to the national park. Host was helpful and quick to reply when we had trouble with the lock. Would definitely stay here again!

What a perfect property for a family vacation! Beautiful home, but who would sit inside when the most amazing riverfront views are right out the door!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, clean, and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable visit. My family and I really enjoyed our time here. Communication with Sheila, the host, was excellent; she was attentive and responded quickly to any questions we had. The location was great, and everything was just as described. We’d love to come back again in the future!

Family trip to Sequoias

Great location loved every bedroom had a bathroom en-suite. Nicely remodeled home! So close to everything but quiet and well maintained!

Beautiful Place, architecture and nature

All six of us really appreciated and enjoyed it. The kitchen and eating areas were user-friendly, the bathroom for each bedroom allowed for excellent privacy. Nearly everything worked well. The house itself is very attractive and spacious and the outdoor plantings, trees, and river access lovely. One of the bedrooms lacked adequate furniture. The noisy music from the local bar and grill Sat. and Sun. spoiled the peaceful environment.

A Perfect Countryside Getaway with Thoughtful Touches

We had an incredible stay at this beautifully remodeled rustic cabin! The property is stunning, with a well-maintained landscape surrounded by vibrant fall leaves and the soothing sound of the river—an experience that felt naturally healing. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a peaceful vacation in the countryside. We stayed during Thanksgiving, and the host went above and beyond by providing a roasting pan and extra foil, making it easy for us to prepare our holiday dinner. The host was exceptionally accommodating and responsive, ensuring we felt at home throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful property

We stayed here for several days with extended family, adults and kids. The property is very beautiful and clean. The backyard was beautiful, lots of patio seating area, a nice patch of grass (we had a small dog who loved that), and a small stream where the kids played every morning. Unfortunately, there are some wildfires in the area so air quality was not the best and we couldn’t spend as much time outside as we would have liked. The house is close to restaurants and stores, and about 10 min from the entrance to the NP. Would definitely love to stay again. Great for large families or several small families.

One word... QUALITY. It looked nice online but the house itself was even better than I expected. Furniture was wonderful quality.... solid wood tables, perfectly fitted leather chairs. There were seats just right for people with short legs, for people with medium legs, for people with long legs. Everything felt solid and substantial. No bed or other piece of furniture wiggled when you sat, no ceiling fan rattled. The fans and air conditioning controls were easy to find and easy to use, and even though it was 111 outside, we were very comfortable inside. Each seat had a cotton blanket over the back and most of us used one. There was a basket of beach towels by the back door handy for creek waders. The artistic eye used in decorating fit everything together just perfectly. Don't miss examining the amazing kitchen light fixture which is a piece of art all its own. Loved all the extra counter space in the extended kitchen was super handy for setting out all the stuff we brought. Sheila was great with communication and very helpful. Her directions were spot on and those of us who used them well had no trouble finding the house.Since it was August, and winter snowfall had been mild, there was hardly any water left in the creek and that was a real disappointment. We marked the house to come back in the spring so we can enjoy that part of the property.
