Exceptional location! Easy walking distance to the ski lifts (yes it was summer but we truly enjoyed riding both the Silver Queen and the Red Lady). Clean, pet friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Great shopping and restaurants within walking distance! Thank you so much! Will definitely return in the future!!!

We had a nice stay and the room was very clean. Check out is at 10am, it would be nice to have a typical check out at 11am to have that extra bit of time to not have to rush. The facility was very dog friendly and that made it nice to be able to bring our dog with us.

Heather, We do try and allow late checkout when requested and possible. Next time, please do ask! Busy times of year can be difficult in Crested Butte as we all pull from the limited amount of Housekeepers on the mountain. Thank you for staying with us. Please come again!

We booked this place primarily so that my 7 year old could have access to the pool. It was 400 for 1 night and couldn't even access the pool. The host gave me 2 different codes before check in, neither of which worked. I messaged the host when I found out they didn't work and got a response the following day AFTER checkout. It was really a bummer to tell your kid they can't access the pool. I let them know I was very disappointed and never got a response back while we were there. The room was nothing more than an outdated hotel room. Stains all over the carpet. As for security, the side door was unlocked the entire time. Super unsafe and not sure why they would do that. Bummed to write my 1st negative review.

The pool code message seems like it arrived to you much later than my reply. Unfortunately, your messages all came in at the same time, not consecutively over time. Communications is one reason we have a local contact phone number listed both in the room and in the welcome email. I am very sorry communication on your stay caused issues for you. I have issued you a refund for a portion of your stay. We greatly thank you for staying with us and hope you will consider rating us based on the entire stay and not just the trouble accessing the pool. Thank you.

Great stay at a beautiful property with great amenities.. right at the base of Mt. CB!!! Easy check in... good communication!!Comfortable sleeping arrangements!!!CB is the fall was magical.. can't wait for ski season!!!

Perfect spot for easy ski access.

Roomy, very short walk to slopes, and doggy friendly. 1st floor is really convenient.

Great location on the mountain. We didn’t receive the door code ahead of time, and i didn’t realize the code we received was for the exterior and not the room code. It took us a bit to get ahold of someone to get in. Room is a bit outdated but was comfy enough. Appreciate having a dog friendly room!

The Grand Lodge leans into the rustic mountain atmosphere of Mt. Crested Butte, and agree a few refreshes are in the works! Please come again.

This is advertised as a personal condo — it is no such thing. It is clearly owned for the sole purpose of renting it out. The chairs in the kitchen are terrible and one almost sinks to the floor when they sit in them. This is not a personal condo that is used by the owner, it is just a rental that is tired and in need of updating. The quality is lacking.

Quick ski weekend

The location cannot be beat, no doubt. Check in was stressful as the door code wasn’t sent to me so I had to contact the host; as the front desk can’t assist with that. That made me nervous as it took a few attempts before my phone calls/texts were returned. Ended up receiving it and it was fine after that. For the cost of the room, I wasn’t pleased with the mattresses nor the cushions in the table chairs. They should both be replaced. You rolled away from the center of the mattress and you were practically sitting on the frame of the chairs. Each chair kind of felt like you were sitting on a toilet seat. There were 2 king beds and only one extra blanket. For a family of 4 and 3 nights there were only 3 bath towels but 4 pool/spa towels. The front desk also couldn’t help with this. But the location really can’t be beat.

We continue to work with VRBO to try different t methods that make automated door codes generate and safe for guests. We are surprised you took issue with the mattresses. Unfortunately, this can be subjective for many. Additionally, we note very clearly that of you need additional blankets, pillows or anything during your stay, you are asked to contact our local representative and not the front desk. Unfortunately, the front desk is for Vail bookings only, as odd as that may sound. We appreciate your feedback and will take all your comments into consideration upon upcoming refreshes. Great spot in CB! Right by the mountain and bus loop that takes you to town, clean and comfortable bedding, and reasonably priced. Will definitely be staying here again!
