The stay was OK the room with the bathroom in it. The tub could be redone and couldn’t enjoy the outside because the front yard wasn’t cut and the backyard was not clean

Good location-near the river walk. The house was ok, since we weren’t there most of the time but needs some attention to cleaning and maintenance of doors, and floors are uneven. Sofas had like dry grass or something on them. We weren’t bothered by it but just notes that can help make it better.

The location is right next to the Base with easy access to shops, the River Walk and other amenities. The house is for sale. The flooring is unlevel and the vinyl is cracked and split in some areas. The master room is weird with a slant to get to the bathroom. The water pressure was very little. But over all for using it as a place to sleep it fulfilled the need at a cheaper rate than a hotel/motel.

Clean home, but a few things need attention

We stayed for a weekend family trip. The house was clean inside and had the basic amenities we needed, but there were a few issues worth mentioning. When we arrived, the grass was overgrown and the front door was unlocked. The TV was a Roku but not set up — the host asked me to do it, which would’ve required making an account just for a short stay. The shower also had very low water pressure, barely dripping, which made showering difficult. There was a “For Sale” sign out front, which kind of explained why it felt like the house wasn’t fully maintained. Overall, it was fine for sleeping, but a few small improvements would make a big difference. 3 stars.

It was fine.

If you need a place to sleep, this house is fine. There are no extra amenities (like hand towels for the bathroom), but it’s a fine place to sleep with easy access to the highway. There are no chairs to sit outside, but the yard is not taken care of anyway The listing mentions a bidet but there isn’t one.

Clean and close to base

The house was clean and close to Ft Sam Houston. The neighborhood looked to be a mix of established homes and those being fixed up. It was very easy to get to the Riverwalk and base. The host communicated well and gave a great recommendation for breakfast! Check out Nola. Yum!

What I expected for the price

It was cheap and quiet. Trash all over the yard and in severe need of being mowed. Water pressure in the shower was not enough to wash my hair, but the kitchen sink was okay. I truly only needed a place to lay my head and this was sufficient.
