Very nice place to stay, great location and quiet. Great patio for morning coffee and bird watching. Highly recommended and will be back again.

Nicely appointed basement walk-out unit with separate entrance, and beautiful little back yard. Very clean with a lot of thoughtful amenities.Close to down-town Traverse City, and beautiful view of the bay on the drive to the property.Note that there is a step up to the bathroom, that might cause difficulty for some.

Peter went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I contacted him prior to our arrival to let him know we were celebrating birthdays. He had the place decorated, champagne in the refrigerator and cookies on the table for us. Thank you for going above and beyond

Hosts where very friendly and went out of there way to accommodate our every nee d, place was well stocked with towels and aupplys. I would highly recommend for couples as the space is a little tight for more than two people.

Very clean, well stocked amenities. Comfortable bed. Nice private patio. Good location. Felt a little on the small side since we were using the 2nd/entertainment room as a bedroom.

Both Peter and his wife were very nice, and respectful. They went out of their way to check in on us, and provide books for my niece to read.

Amazing little apartment!

My husband and I came for the weekend and needed a quiet place to stay. The apartment is very cute, clean, and comfortable. Every detail is thought through. Loved the private entrance, the little kitchenette, comfortable bed, lovely location, etc. Just a few houses down from a little park right on Lake Michigan. Highly recommended!

The apartment was just as advertised, was well equipped and in an excellent location to visit the Traverse City area. Could use a larger coffee maker; for two people we had to make two pots. Also, the air conditioner being in the one bedroom made it difficult to keep the temperature equalized.

We loved our stay here! The house was SUPER clean and very thoughtfully designed. We had everything we needed to cook meals and the location was great - just a short walk to a nice beach and park. Beautiful plants/garden to take in and the private backyard had lots of cute squirrels and birds to watch. The hosts were very helpful - we left a sentimental item behind and they got it back to us right away. My favorite part was sitting on the patio and listening to the nature sounds - very peaceful neighborhood and really nice property. We'll definitely be back!

Migrating from Puerto Rico and later Connecticut, along with Shannon from Walled Lake, Michigan, moved to the breathtaking Traverse City in 2019. We soon discovered the treasure we had stumbled upon in this splendid corner of the USA. We hit the ground running. We put down roots, built friendships, bought a house in 2021, and began renovations in 2024 to share the beauty of Traverse Bay with others. It's not just the grandeur of the bays that they enjoy sharing, but also the community, the cuisine, and the natural ambiance.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

It is peaceful. The neighbors are amazing, and the properties are not so close where we hear each other. Its small but fenced for privacy and the NMC college owns the land a crossed from me so it will likely never be developed. There is a gorgeous low traffic public beach with park and playground for children just a few houses down.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

How close it is from the bay with bay access. Also, that it is in the college and local elementary/middle school neighborhood, so it is extremely safe with unusually low traffic for Traverse City and just minutes from the main Downtown District which is booming with life and activities.
