* Resort User Fee: $15 per person (age 5+), includes 2 parking passes and amenity wristbands. Guests must register and pre-pay this fee via a link sent in the confirmation email. Registration must be completed at least 3 days prior to arrival to ensure access.
* Occupancy Limit: Strictly enforced per Florida State Fire Code regulations. Exceeding the limit may result in a denied check-in by the HOA, with no refund.

Beach service was easy to get and so nice! Beautiful beach! There was hair on the shower wall in one of the bathrooms from missed cleaning services. The stove had an eye that wasn’t burning, the main microwave was not working, one of the bathroom faucets was broken, one of the toilets didn’t flush, we had a fun time with family with beautiful views.

Outdated

Property itself is outdated and needs refurbished. The second bedroom is very small with 2 double beds in it made for kids because of the railings on it. Master bedroom had mold in the shower. There was food under the couch where it had not been swept. Kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary utensils, pots, pans, plates, etc.

The condo was very nice. A few minor issues but they took care of it in a timely manner. Will stay again if we decide to go back to Destin. Water was beautiful, food and fun was excellent

Horrible!!!

We have been comming to sterling sands for 30 years. This was the most horrible trip . Condo master bed had mold all over in and out of the shower , same as for the 2nd full bath . Ac kept coming on and off as it pleased . Paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom . Pots and pans were falling apart and couldn’t even use them . No can opener at all ! Balcony sliding door was disgusting . I SPENT $5500 on this please for my family and our friends that can’t afford to travel but maybe a every few years . Super unacceptable!!! Won’t be back at all!!!!

Wonderful place to stay!!

This condo is comfortable and beautiful. It has lots of room for everybody and the views from the balcony are amazing. The heated pool and hot tub are perfect and convenient. We enjoyed our stay so much!

Great Spot

We stayed here with my parents on work/play vacation. We really enjoyed the apartment. The best feature was that both main bedrooms had their own bathroom so it was perfect for us. They had everything we needed for your basic overall stay. It was clean and while it could use some updating it was not a big deal. A great spot for a vacation with 2 families.

Unit was good, just needed some TLC. No extra pillows or blankets. Was clean other than some black mold in one shower. Beautiful view, great location. Pool Beautiful. Great chair service on beach. Beach was incredible.

Great condo and location

Condo was as described. Had a few issues when we first got there but manager quickly resolved and rest of stay was great. One complaint…outside patio furniture was not good. For a 3 bedroom condo, there were only 3 outdoor chairs and those were dry rotted. Big deck with no furniture. Other than that…great stay and family had a good time!

Love Destin but....

This is our 5th trip in 3 years to Sterling Sands and will now be our last. We used to brag and recommend this place to friends but they moved the good ole HOA into the building and it's lost it's vacation appeal. Security guards and extra fees not to mention the pool we used to love was inoperable for over 2 days and the hot tub was shut down the whole week waiting on parts. No info or updates from anyone when these would open back up. We had our room cancelled on us a month prior to our trip but vacasa let us choose another room and they covered the price difference. The cream of the crop were already gone so we ended up in room 201. Plenty of room to move around but decor and upkeep needed some work but nothing bad enough that it affected our vacation.
