Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that the check-in process and communication were smooth. That said, we were surprised to read these concerns, as this is the first time they have been brought to our attention. Your stay was from February 27 to March 2, and we did not receive any communication about these issues during that time. In fact, we followed up four separate times after your check-in to make sure everything was going well, but unfortunately did not receive a response. Had we been notified during your stay, we would have immediately addressed any concerns and sent our team to the property to resolve them. We always encourage guests to let us know right away if something is not right so we can make it right. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and we will still review this with our cleaning team. However, it is very difficult to investigate or correct issues when they are only raised several days after checkout. We appreciate the feedback and wish you the best in your future travels.

We’re disappointed to read this review, especially given the full context of the situation. First, it’s important to clarify that this guest chose to check out early and was promptly refunded for the unused nights, a gesture we offered out of goodwill, despite their stay being non-refundable. We aim to be respectful and fair in all guest interactions, even when concerns are presented in an aggressive or accusatory manner. The guest sent multiple messages around 1:00 AM, making false accusations about our property, including claims that our secure Wi-Fi setup and cameras on the outside of the property were somehow hidden surveillance. This is not only untrue, but fully compliant with VRBO’s guidelines, which allow outdoor security cameras for guest safety, provided they are not in private areas. There are no indoor cameras or undisclosed devices on the premises, and to suggest otherwise is entirely inaccurate. When we attempted to clarify and de-escalate the situation, we were met with continued hostility and baseless allegations. The tone and content of their messages made it clear they were looking for conflict rather than resolution. We also feel it’s worth noting that this guest shared they are currently involved in a lawsuit with their previous apartment complex, a detail that unfortunately aligns with the confrontational nature of their communication with us. Our home is safe, clean, and accurately represented. We’ve hosted dozens of guests without incident, and we always welcome respectful communication. We stand by our handling of this situation and urge future guests to read the many positive reviews that speak to the quality and integrity of our listing.
