Alone time

The cabin was located in a fantastic area. The area was secluded but not so distant from another house that I didnt feel isolated in the hills of GA.The cabin was clean and very well insulated from the 20 degree outside temperature. And the bedroom was basically blacked out which provided for some great sleepWillene is a wonderful host

Mountain Getaway

This is our first time using the platform, and it was definitely a winner. She is very knowledgeable about the area and a great hostess. My wife and I and our pup had a great time. He loves the water and enjoyed the river immensely despite the fact that it was cold. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but other than that we made a great use of the area and got to do a lot of things that my wife has never had the chance before to do. Would definitely stay again.

Loved it!

The place was perfect, the hostess was so sweet - I loved it! The other reviews about the highway noise were true, but there was a big fan in the bedroom that was loud enough to drown out the highway sounds. The little creek was so peaceful!

Better than advertised

This place is simply gorgeous. The owner is fantastic, and made me feel very welcome. The place itself is fully stocked with a nice sized kitchen, eating area, living room, bedroom with no window - quiet and dark! - a nice restroom, and the jewel: The backyard, leading to steps right down to the river. It is peaceful, clean, nice, and cozy. I will definitely be back here. Thank you for this!

What a great stay. The little river out back was the big hit for our two labs! Aside from being next to a road it doesn’t get much better! Will be staying again for sure.

My first visit to the area , had nice place to stay, weather was perfect rained in early eve one day

The home was decorated very nice, the rooms were clean, bathromm was great , nice dim lighting at night in case you need to walk to the bathrom. Everything was furnished for cooking, baking, and cleaning. Washer and dryer worked great. If any problems or guestions she was always close by to answer your question, and stop in to see if eveything was ok. Very, Very Very nice lady -wants the best for her guest.

Great cabin

Had a good stay at the cabin. Location is central to Helen and Hiwassa. Walkway behind cabin leads down to the creek. A little louder since it's right on the road at night. Cabin was very comfortable.

Hidden Gem

Sitting alongside the streams was pure serenity. The property was beautiful and well kept. Inside the apartment felt like home with all the amenities one could ask for. The bed and living areas are very comfortable. Although it is close to the highway, the road noise was never any real issue. We turned on the fan in the bedroom and never heard anything. We hope this property is available the next time we come this way!

Down by the ole mill stream

Sit by the Stream just below the back yard and your troubles melt away. Very clean and very accessible. If you are weary of steep mountain roads this is the perfect spot as it is right if the main road. Sure that means there’s some traffic but down by the stream you couldn’t tell it. Very reasonably priced. Why stay in a hotel? Willene We will definitely be back!!!

This was our second time staying here! We stayed a week. Ms Willene is always so friendly and helpful! Location is great, short drive to Helen, Brasstown Bald and many other state parks. Also only a little over 2 hour drive to Gatlinbur/Pigeon Forge. Late afternoon we enjoyed grilling, the relaxing atmosphere of the river and feeding the fish. One of our best vacations!! Looking forward to our next mountain vacation her!!

Dogs Loved Loved Loved It!!!

I was a little worried when we pulled in because it was Memorial Day Weekend and the traffic was bad. The cabin is located right off the road. However, we took advantage of all the property that was in the back of the cabin which was amazing and the owners let us use the majority of it, and we fully took advantage of it! If you have water dogs like we do this PROPERTY is for you! 🙂 Only negative is you share the air conditioning unit with the adjacent cabin. Other than that, We will Definitely try to make it back because it is very peaceful and the dogs and us Loved it!

We loved staying here! It’s a great location where it’s close enough to town without being in town and within a few miles of some amazing hikes! The cabin was so clean and the hosts so nice! It had everything we could possibly need. We stayed for a week! And it was very well insulated we could not hear our neighbors at all and even inside ours I could close the door to the bedroom and the tv which is just outside the door you couldn’t even hear! The cabin has a river out back with a fire pit and there are a couple grills! Our dogs loved it too and went swimming while we roasted marshmallows! I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place and our hostess!
