Beautiful cottage near Old Town and near the Sandy Beaches of Bay St Louis. Walk or Ride a provided bike to the beach or downtown. Nestled beneath live oaks and surronded by grape vines. Exposed wood ceilings with a large den, formal dining and two spacious bedrooms. Private fenced yard. The patio with fire pit, two park benches and outdoor seating makes this home the perfect retreat or vacation The commercial grade kitchen makes this a chef's dream. Prepare to be impressed and enjoy.

You will love this charming house near the beach and downtown. Active wine grapes growing - feels like your in Napa. Incredible outdoor space complete with fire pit, chairs, 3 park benches and private fenced yard. Decorated by a renown interior designers with the charm of a wine bistro. Two private bedrooms. Across the street from railroad tracks. Large lot with plenty of parking and space.

The home was very clean and neat. I didn't realize it was next to railroad tracks so trains coming through in the middle of the night was disruptive.

The house was excellent! Perfect location (about a mile from downtown) for second Saturday. The host was very quick to respond to a question about check in and checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is super cute and very clean. Highly recommend!

The place was really dirty, like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. There was blood on the light switch in the first bedroom, blood that appeared to have been spat out near the bathroom mirror. It appears that someone spilled a beverage against the wall near the bed of the first bedroom, and the wall was never cleaned.Animal hair was abundant on the couch, floor, and the clean sheets we placed on the bed, as the ones already there had hair. I had to use a lint roller to ease my child's concerns.The baseboards appear never to have been wiped. And the bed skirts are discolored from not being removed and cleaned. Definitely a one star.

The house was clean and comfortable. It was also close enough to down town Bay Saint Louis but far enough away to be quiet. We really enjoyed our stay their and would recommend it.

The place was a good value, but it should be stated in the description that the home is adjacent to railroad tracks and there will often be a half a dozen trains (many in the early morning) which will come by and use their loud train horn.The VRBO location citing is not accurate in its placement.

Cozy cottage

Very nice cottage style home in BSL. After a day of boating to ship Island, it was nice to come back to a quiet escape.

Weekend getaway

Clean and nice outdoor patio area.Quaint and historic since it used to be a wine bistro Beds too soft for my personal tastes.I’d book it again

New Year’s Eve celebration

Stay was very nice place was just like it was shown in the pictures. We were allowed to check in a little early and that was very convenient for us.

No coffee or machine was available. No response when I asked about it. Was not aware of trains just feet from the property and heard 4 different trains during sleeping hours with horns roaring through the house.

A Keuig and regular coffee pot are in the house. Not sure why the guest could not find either. The train runs through all of Bay St Louis.

This house needs a good dusting. Every time I opened the oven, the fire alarm was activated. Something is wrong with the water flow in the kitchen sink. The sofas are blistering in the back. The air conditioner is not very strong.

Filthy Property

When we arrived this property was filthy. Food on counters, sand everywhere- tables, floor, beds, black mildew on a clothes hamper in the bedroom, hair in bathroom sink and feces in the toilet. The place looked like it had not been touched by a cleamer and smelled worse. My party refused to stay and the property owner is denying my refund request. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a rental...ever. BEWARE!!

The guest checked in before the hosue was ready. I informed her it would take 30-45 minutes to finish cleaning.

Check in communication was very clear. Appreciated be able to park in the back. One question I had after we arrived was met with a prompt reply. The house was clean and comfortable, and the decor was lovely. Grateful for the cool a/c with 90 degree daytime temp outside. Be aware there are trains going by occasionally, but it never bothered us. We were lucky to meet the owner on our way out and had a nice chat. Love love love this place!!

The cleaners obviously only surface clean the kitchen baseboard’s light bulbs haven’t been cleaned in forever. The sitting area outside was covered with leaves. The location was great owner was so nice. But definitely should hire different cleaners and yard guys definitely not up to par especially with it being downtown. But overall great experience would go again if it was cleaner next time. I have my own cleaning business and for the price it definitely should have been cleaner

Great property, fairly clean, very spacious. Across from railroad tracks, several trains passed early morning and late night. Couldn’t connect to WiFi, but host was very helpful and accommodating. Plenty of kitchen appliances and utensils, property has lots of personality! We would stay there again!

We arrived late, with a storm headed toward us and when the storm passed we were ready to rest after our long drive to find sheets with hair on them and a huge beetle in one bed. I had to strip the beds, wash everything and find clean bedding. When I contacted the host, no apology, no solution, just, I know the cleaning crew were there that evening. Knowing and doing are 2 very different things. I was just very disappointed. Other than that after an exhausting drive our trip was nice.
