Wonderful home and property. Fully stocked with everything you could need for a comfortable relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the screened porch and gazebo, listening to the creek and sounds of nature.All of the information provided about the surrounding area was so helpful choosing places to see. Perfect time to enjoy some of the fall colors. Great choice for our last minute trip.

A cute little house in the woods. We didn't want for anything, the owners have thought of everything a person may need to stay warm, cook a meal, or to just relax. I would stay here again.

Wow, what a gem this place is! The first thing anyone needs to know about this home is how CLEAN it is. From the moment we opened the door, we could smell the freshness and knew the owners take immense pride in their rental. We arrived to music playing in the background and fans circulating the air, and we knew we were in for a great weekend. There were many personal touches that made us feel so welcome. One of our favorite things was the gazebo by the creek. We sat there both nights in splendor just listening to the creek flow, and it was the tonic we needed to completely decompress. The house is decorated with thoughtful touches, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We could easily spend a week here and not leave the property - that's how peaceful it is. If you are fortunate enough to have stumbled across this property, book it NOW. You will not be disappointed. There's a reason they have so many 5-star ratings. To the hosts - thank you so much for giving us a relaxing and unforgettable weekend. We will definitely be back again!

My fiancé and I loved this place! I don't believe I have ever stayed anywhere that I felt so welcome. When we entered for the first time there was soft music playing on the intercom system. Also, the host had homemade cookies in the fridge with baking instructions. (They were yummy!)Such a peaceful setting. The cabin was spotless and beautifully decorated. It is just so homey there. We were sad we only had 2 nights. Also, we couldn't have asked for a better host. She is the sweetest person. I believe if we lived close, we could be best friends.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

Lovely home with lots of cozy touches! Our favorite room was the very large screened porch with a dining table, comfortable wicker chair arrangements and two anti-gravity lounge chairs. From here we listened to the sounds of the creek and enjoyed amazing firefly shows every night. (We visited in July.) It was magical! The grounds are beautifully landscaped. We also loved the screened gazebo by the creek. Inside, the home is very comfortable and has everything you need or could want. The hosts made sure we felt welcomed. They care about the home and their guests. Jindra and John are terrific hosts!! The location is short drive to Roan Mountain Recreation Area and Penland School of Craft. I recommend both. We had an excellent stay!

Hosts were great! They did a lot of things to make our stay enjoyable. They knew it was our anniversary and left us a vase of fresh cut flowers, a card, a banner and couple of heart shaped cookies to bake. We really loved sitting around the fire pit and listening to the creek.

We can't say enough great things about our stay! The Creekhouse is simply amazing & so are the hosts. There is so much attention to the smallest detail. We will absolutely be back & will definitely stay longer. This has quite honestly been my best vacation EVER & we will regulars.
