Literally one mile above the Blue Ridge Parkway @ 4,000 feet, this freshly redesigned home boasts 2 King en-suites with a gourmet chef's kitchen and huge covered deck to thoroughly enjoy the spectacular views and peaceful surroundings. Everything in our home is new! Surrounded by undeveloped Pisgah National Forest and NC State wildlife lands, this is truly a peaceful get-away with great restaurants, unique shopping, spectacular waterfalls, tremendous hiking, horseback riding, water sports, and trout fishing all nearby.

Cabin disinfected before and after each guest by our very-thorough cleaning team.

In our experience, there is nothing worse than showing up at your rental to find that it is less than what you expected and starting your vacation disappointed. We designed and furnished this home for our family and to our high standards - you will NOT be disappointed!

Tranquility is a beautiful place to relax and unwind after a fun day being out and about! We enjoyed Grandfather Mountain, downtown Spruce Pine and Burnsville. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings and evening, relaxing and reading.

This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The house was warm, comfortable, and the view was amazing. The location was great and felt very private, but still close enough to a store if needed.

Million dollar view! My husband and I spent 4 nights at Tranquility. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, with such a beautiful view of the mountains , every evening after touring around. The people in the area were very friendly. Linville Winery, Linville Falls, Boone and other great places were within an hours drive. With 2 master en-suites and a well stocked kitchen, plus a gas grill on the patio, we had everything we needed.

What a beautiful house in Spruce Pine! The views were incredible and so peaceful sitting on the deck. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need and everything was super clean. There was a lot of hiking and waterfalls in the area to check out. We will definitely be back!

This home was exactly as advertised, actually even better! We had great communication with the host! The house was very clean, and thoughtfully equipped w everything you would need for your stay. The home has all updated appliances, comfortable beds, and nice bedding. The front porch has comfortable nice furniture and a gorgeous, unobstructed view of the mountains and pristine wilderness as far as you can see.We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked again in the fall for an even longer stay.

Mr. Small has an amazing property that is available through VRBO. It's just about a mile off the paved road, so there is very little traffic back and forth, There is a huge front porch that faces out over the valley and on to the mountains beyond. There is a high-top table with two chairs, and a separate seating area for four with two cushioned chairs and a loveseat. We spent hours there, listening to the birds, and hearing the wind flow through the giant trees. It sounded like rushing water. My wife's birdcall app identified all sorts of feathered friends. Inside, it felt more like house-sitting than renting. Anything we needed was at hand. Kitchen equipment, bathroom supplies, a big LED flashlight for stepping out at night. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of electrical outlets for all of our readers and phones and such. The A/C and the wi-fi were flawless. The icemaker never broke a sweat. Both bedrooms had a nice attached bathroom and a big closet with lots of storage.Bill communicated quickly and graciously with me on any questions that came up. He was a great host for us. Thank you, sir.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cabin was very clean and well furnished. Location was convenient for traveling to different areas of the mountains. Will definitely keep the cabin in mind for future trips. When all sections are open, proximity to the parkway is definitely a plus.

We are a very active family who love the outdoors and Blue Ridge Mountains especially. We take full advantage of the wonderful mountains that surround us and use this home a lot. But, with kids, we juggle a lot of priorities and can't always use it. So we open our home for others to enjoy.

We have rented cabins throughout the NC mountains but always found it hard to find ones that met our standards and were close to exciting outdoor options. When we visited the Spruce Pine/Little Switzerland area, we fell in love. It's also very rare to find a flat lot this high up in the mountains coupled with world-class views like this home has. We've designed this home to meet our exacting standards!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Flat lot with a ranch style home makes for very easy and convenient living. The two king en-suite bedrooms are on either end of the house giving great privacy. In between the two bedrooms is the completely open living/dining/kitchen space. In the summer, enjoy fresh blueberries from our 20 mature blueberry bushes.
