Had myself and 2 couples stay end of January. The location is perfect, easy walk to beaches and town. The home was great with each having our own bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds and air conditioning in each rooms. We enjoyed the access to the beach club as well!

Perfect House & Hosts!

This was our first visit to Costa Rica, and Tamarindo. The location of this house is wonderful, a short walk to the beach! Access to the Beach Club is a wonderful perk. The house, in particular the kitchen, is well appointed. The hosts, Sean and Genna, were very responsive and so helpful with recommendations, etc. We would not hesitate to return and will recommend the house to friends.

Great stay!

We had 4 nights at this modern clean house and it fit the needs of our family perfectly. Short walk to beach. Pool in the backyard. We could walk to downtown. Access to a beach club. The hosts were super nice and answered any ? Quickly and were helpful to connect us to some surf lessons as well. Would absolutely use again and highly recommend.

Absolutley amazing place to stay! The home is even nice in person than the photos which I know is very hard to believe. Perfect location, we were able to walk to the action whenever we wanted, but far enough away to enjoy our peace and quiet. A must location for families, the beach club membership is clutch! You get the resort amenities, but the benefit of being in a beautiful house. Also Genna is amazing, so many little details she paid attention to. She was always available to make sure we had a great experience and everything we needed. She left us little local treats and local beers to try. All around amazing, it is our go to spot for CR!!! Just book already!

Great place with A hosts!

My family of 5 stayed at The Sandpiper House for a week over our spring break. The house was everything it says it is--great location, super clean and very comfortable. The hosts are what made it amazing, though. They were very helpful with recommendations before and during our trip regarding shopping, surfing, massages, snorkeling, hiking--everything! We had a small medical emergency which required a trip to a doctor and Sean and Genna responded to our text within minutes and directed us to just the right place to take care of our needs. I would definitely recommend this place, and these hosts!

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at the Sandpiper! The gated community is really beautiful and unique. We saw monkeys in the mornings and afternoons while out on walks and while swimming in the pool. The house had everything we needed during our stay and was even more beautiful and spacious in person. All three rooms were very comfortable. The location is just as described, a short walk from Tamarindo but you feel tucked away in the quiet neighborhood. We loved the restaurant just across the street, some of the best Italian food we’ve ever had! The host and her family were very hospitable, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this location!

Amazing stay just 5 mins to beach!

We ended up booking Genna and Sean’s place for the second half of a two week trip and it was amazing!After a hectic first week of driving and adventuring, Casa Sandpiper was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy everything Tamarindo has to offer. The private pool was great for the kids and Playa Tamarindo is just a 5 minute walk from the front door through one of the beach gates. The area itself is quiet, close to many awesome restaurants, and we saw monkeys in trees out back every other day. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and well-equipped, the A/C works great, and the beds are super comfy. Genna and Sean were phenomenal hosts and made everything incredibly convenient for us. Thank you for a great stay and we can’t wait to come back!

Very Nice, Perfect Location

My partner and I are looking for property all over Costa Rica so we are staying overnight in places to get a feel for neighborhoods. We really loved Sandpiper because that little neighborhood is right on the beach and close to Tamarindo but also super quiet at night. The house was spotless and looked new, and the beds were the best that we have slept in so far in Costa Rica. The house has a really nice covered outdoor space and we spent some relaxing time watching it rain while drinking coffee. The pool was a welcome refresher after a hard day of property hunting. We will definitely come back with our kids!

Wonderful Time at Sandpiper

LOVE!! We visited several places in Guanacaste on our anniversary trip, and Sandpiper was by far our favorite. It’s such an amazing location and the beds are so comfy. It’s far enough away from downtown Tamarindo to enjoy peace and quiet and nature (we saw monkeys in the back or front yard every single day!!). But close enough to walk to all the bars/restaurants/beaches. The place was super clean and there was coffee, milk and local cookies/snacks when we arrived — which was a nice touch. I also liked that we got to pick an easy-to-remember door code. We’ll be back!

It is hard to write this review without simply saying that it was an excellent accommodation from start to finish and the hosts are wonderful and great communicators. The location was great- far enough from the main drag to feel like a quiet oasis but also close to everything with beach access to three different beaches. The accompanying access to the Langosta Beach Club was also amazing. We will definitely be back and want to say that Genna and Sean are amazing hosts who take a lot of time and effort to make your experience personal and comfortable. 10/10 and we will definitely come back! Also, GET YOUR FAMILY PHOTOS TAKEN BY GENNA IF YOU CAN. She is an extremely talented family photographer and you will cherish the memories with professional family/couple pics to boot!

Amazing place. Amazing hosts. It's very simple: the house has everything you need and more. Modern, clean and very well equipped and everything we were missing the hosts provided or helped us getting it from somewhere else (e.g. crib). Monkeys in the backyard, short walk to the beach, access to the Langosta Beach club (LBC) just made our stay even more enjoyable. Cooling off in the saltwater pool was fantastic. The LBC really has everything you need to enjoy the beach, a pool, restaurant and bar and you can use their concierge service for almost everything. Everything is super close and also super safe. You really want to stay here when in Tamarindo if it is for a few nights or like us for one week and a half. Genna and Sean are super welcoming. From the moment i booked with them until the checkout and beyond the communication was quick, efficient and super friendly. Thanks for making our stay even better. Hope to be back one day.
