3BR Weaver's Cottage on Peaceful Guemes Island

This cozy cottage is freshly remodeled and is just a 5 minute ferry ride away from Anacortes on a quaint 20 car ferry. It has an open floor plan and is bright and sunny with a view of the water and mountains. It has cedar sided walls and a gas fire stove. The master bedroom has a queen bed in a room with a large picture window that looks out on a native garden. This bedroom has a walk in closet and a master bath with tub and shower. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and an adjoining remodeled bath with a tiled in shower. There is a separate bunk room with 2 twin beds… perfect for kids. There is public beach access and a boat launch a short distance away. There are miles of beaches and roads for walking and a mountain hike with stunning views. It’s a perfect place to get away for a peaceful week or weekend. There is no cable on the island so internet only. Smart TV with Netflix provided.

My party and I loved the Weaver’s Cottage! Would stay there again and would recommend to anyone! Great view of the water. We were charmed by the neighborly peacock in the neighborhood, and the antique loom in the living room.

Lovely, spacious home with view from kitchen. Large kitchen and living areas. Very clean. We had a problem getting hot water in the bathroom with the shower. We had delightful time at the waterfront beach just down the road. Host was responsive to our requests for information and more towels! Fun time taking the ferry! Everyone slept well

We had a wonderful stay at Christopher's cottage on Guemes Island. The property was exactly as described—bright, comfortable, immaculately clean, and clearly well cared for. The recent remodel has been done to a very high standard, making it feel both cozy and modern.The peaceful setting was one of the highlights. We loved relaxing with the water and mountain views, and the island itself was a perfect place to slow down for a few days. The nearby beaches, quiet roads for walking, and easy access to nature made it an ideal getaway.The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, and the layout worked really well. The bedrooms were comfortable, the bathrooms were excellent, and the living space was warm and inviting. Christopher was a great host, providing clear information and making everything straightforward from arrival to departure.If you're looking for a quiet escape that's just a short ferry ride from Anacortes but feels a world away, we'd highly recommend staying here. We'd happily return.

Great vacation weekend

We loved staying here. Clean, comfy beds, dog-friendly, and relaxed. Great that there were bikes available to explore the island on too!

This house was built by our family in the 1950's, and our mother was an accomplished weaver. Some of the rugs she wove are still in the house. Recently updated kitchen provides seating at the view windows facing the Sound and Mt Baker.
