Summary:
Welcome to Green Hills Escape, a meticulously kept home located in an upscale neighborhood of South Nashville. Located on a quiet dead-end street, the space is ideal for a family or group to enjoy the relaxed side of Tennessee’s most desired city.

The Space:
Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by beams of natural light from the large front window, illuminating the yellow and blue hues of the home's interior decor. The house provides not one, but two beautiful living spaces to enjoy with fellow guests. The front living room has a smart TV and seating that creates the perfect conversational space. The second living room, right off of the kitchen, is extra cozy with a sunken floor and fireplace.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances and a Keurig, standard drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, and wine ware for your convenience. Whip up a delicious meal from home and enjoy it together at the small table in the kitchen or the more formal dining space that seats 6.

The home sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably between 3 bedrooms. The bedrooms are fully furnished and provide luxe linens to ensure everyone has a restful stay.

Bedroom #1 (The primary suite) has a King bed, smart TV, and en-suite. The en-suite is outfitted with a large vanity with dual sinks, a separate stand up shower, and a jacuzzi tub
Bedroom #2 is configured with 2 Twin-over-Twin bunk beds
Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed and smart TV

An additional full bathroom with a shower/tub combo is fully stocked to accommodate guests in the remaining bedrooms.

THINGS TO NOTE:
- The washer/dryer is available for guest use.
- There is parking space for up to 4 vehicles on the driveway.
- If you are bringing a pet, please note that the pet fee is not included in the total price. An additional flat fee of $150 applies, and a maximum of 2 pets are allowed in the unit. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
- This is a duplex and there is a long term tenant that lives on the back-side


Step outside and take a 10-minute stroll from the home and you can reach Lipscomb University and several dining options. 21st Avenue South is mere minutes away and offers an array of culinary treasures, boutiques, world-renowned music venues, and entertainment options. And while you're in town, head to the heart of Historic Downtown Nashville in under a 20-minute drive.

A few minor issues

The location was fantastic, and the parking was good in the driveway. Neighborhood was very safe. But the kitchen was on the tired side and probably could use a really good update. The toilet in the main bathroom was not secured to the floor so it rocked when people sat on it. And the phone number to contact the management company in advance of the stay, was quite poor. You could leave a message, but the message would never get returned. The only time we actually were able to get a hold of anyone to speak to was to say we were a current guest and we were having problems getting access. Also, we had booked the same house for another weekend but canceled within the 100% refund timeframe. And it took six weeks, three phone calls, emails and text to finally get our money returned. If you’re going to Nashville and don’t plan on spending a lot of time in the kitchen, and just using it as a place to sleep and have coffee, it’s just fine.

Family reunion

This house was perfect! We stayed here over the Fourth because it was close to my aunt's house- where we were having a large family reunion. I chose it for its location but we were super pleased. It was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and was dog friendly! The host was responsive on the front end to my questions and the property had everything we needed so we never needed to reach out while we were there. I will definitely book again when we come back to Nashville for a visit.

Nashville & Murfreesboro Trip

The property was good for what we needed. We had 3 adults and 3 young adults and had plenty of room. The neighborhood is nice and centrally located for what we had planned to do in downtown Nashville (CMA Fest) and our daughter's orientation at MTSU in Murfreesboro. The house was as advertised. One of the bathrooms was tight and the ladies found it harder to get ready in there. A few minor little drawbacks with the place but overall was a comfortable, clean, and suited our needs.

Feels like home!

The location of this property is in a very nice, safe and quiet neighborhood! It is easy to get to with plenty of parking. I love that there are only two steps to get into the house. It was very clean and the beds sleep good. There was plenty of room. It would be great for a girls/friends trip to Nashville. I will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Nashville.

Location, location, location

This house is in a great location, close to Lipscomb University and Green Hills. It's in a quiet neighborhood and the rooms are very comfortable. I would recommend this house.

Perfect for Girls Nashbash!

Great home for our annual Nashville Girls Weekend! Plenty of room for the four of us. We enjoyed the multiple sitting areas and the beautiful neighborhood too! We would book again!

Looks better in pictures

We were looking for a quiet place to stay outside of the city. The neighborhood is nice and conveniently located. The house over all is very tired and needs a lot of work. There was extensive water damage in the master bathroom and you can see where the water was running down the walls. Paint flaking off the ceiling, etc. Was just hard to feel clean in that environment. Also the wood floors could use a hood cleaning. A little love and the place would be great. Over all beds were comfortable and it was just a place to sleep. Also wasn’t aware the owner lives on the property. Vrbo always advertises privacy without worry. There is a door that connects the two spaces via the laundry room. It’s locked from the owners side. So there is nothing preventing the owner from just unlocking and snooping through your things if you’re away. Felt uncomfortable. A lot of trust to put into someone you don’t know! Also disappointed that the management company texted us the next day to see how things were going and when I sent pictures they never followed up or back. It’s funny that the company’s name is “the grand welcome” and the place was quite the opposite frankly. Don’t be fooled by the pictures is the best lesson I’ve learned from this stay. We’ll just stay in a hotel in the city next time.

Awesome property in a great location!

We had the best week at this property! It was very clean and decorated well. The location was perfect for us! The management group and the owner exceeded expectations. We will be back for many times in the coming years to visit our daughter at college. It's so good, I just hope it's available when we need it!!

Great Find!

This is a lovely place, fireplace room was warm and cozy and separated enough for different groups of people to chat and not be disruptive. Kitchen adaquate but bring your own coffee/KCups and creamer! Furniture all lovely!

Quiet neighborhood close to everything

This house is in a transitioning neighborhood at a dead end where you are able to walk around and see both older small ranches mixed in with newer gorgeous homes. This house has been renovated inside, but the exterior needs some loving. The yard and driveway is an eyesore compared to the rest of the neighborhood and there were several dead plants, tree branches, etc. that needed cleaned up. There is a lot of draft that comes in from old windows. The heating unit is not made to heat the whole house and the areas that are add ons are chilly (kitchen, sitting area near kitchen) and drafty (main living room and dining room), while the bedrooms are burning hot if you close the doors. One bedroom has a ceiling fan and the other bedroom had a fan in the closet and we ended up bringing a fan for the master bedroom (which is toasty, but master bathroom is cold). When it comes to showers, the water pressure is great. However, master shower has no where to put shampoo, soap, etc. and it would be helpful for owner to purchase a stand up unit to put in the corner (shower is plenty big!) Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, towels, etc supplied by cleaning company. The light above the master shower is out. The kitchen is larger with a wide variety of cooking items and a wonderful gas stove. The dishwasher is older and takes quite some time for a load. The overall space of the house is amazing as there plenty of room to spread out if needed for multiple conversations. Even though the owner lives in a back area and shares the laundry room, we did not hear any noise (besides a dog once or twice) and never felt forced for an interaction. There was a delivery that came to the front door and we politely directed them to the back unit. Regarding the TV's, you need to log in with your own streaming as they don't have anything provided. It was a bit disappointing to not have access to local news to see what was happening in Nashville. The beds and linens were very comfortable, however if you want a firm pillow you are out of luck. The house was very clean and inside uptake and pictures are in line and we would stay again as the proximity to downtown and other Nashville hot spots and quietness of the neighborhood are a big hit!
