We had a great experience staying here. The house was very clean, roomy enough for our family of 5. The beach access is the best. It's a short walk and there are some stairs involved but if you're able It's 100% worth it!

This was a delightful little house in a quiet woodsy neighborhood. We felt very comfortable and safe. Walk to beach was about 5 minutes and the steps down to the beach were built into the slope. The last 3 steps were a ladder but was fairly sturdy. We used this path to walk the beach but drove to nearby Hagar Park when we had all our gear to lug to the beach. Very nice sand and shoreline.

Wonderful base for Sisters Weekend

My sister and I stayed here while we were enjoying a sisters weekend in SW Michigan. This was a great cozy location close to lots of great activities in the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor area.

Comfortable and close to work

I spent a month here for a job nearby. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood just off Blue Star Hwy which makes it easy to get around the area. The host was very easy to contact and accommodating.

John's Beachside Cottage is a cozy and cute little place that handled 4 adults and 2 toddlers quite well. The walk to the beach is nice, a bit long for babies but not for adults and once you get to the beach it's really beautiful. The location of the cottage is 15 minutes from 2-3 little tourist towns with fun shopping and restaurants. Loved it.

Making memories

This was my kids 4th time staying here and they cant wait to go back. We love how quiet the neighborhood is (you dont even notice the shop next door). The beach is quiet and beautiful and the proximity to things to do makes for easy outings. We will definitely be back!
