You'll love sipping a drink on the deck while enjoying views of Paw Paw Lake.

Cozy lake home in convenient location situated on a channel (created by opposite island) leading to 922 acre, all-sports Paw Paw Lake, in Coloma, Michigan. Enjoy the sunrise toward the lake from the raised deck. There are water views from two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed with attached bath, including shower and separate extra large tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds.
Enjoy bright skylit rooms, and living room with beautiful lake view which includes queen sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, blender, plenty of pots/pans, dishes, cups and utensils. There is a washer/dryer off the entrance. Stock your groceries and enjoy meals in the kitchen, or on the deck with beautiful water view. There is dock access, gradual depth frontage and public boat launch located just around the corner. You can watch those fisherman and boaters launching their boats right from the deck! Bring your rafts, kayaks, or boat and keep it docked at our pier. Coloma is a quaint town with it's own movie theater, pubs and restaurants and antique mall. The lake house is 20 minutes north of St. Joseph and Silver Beach, 24 minutes south of South Haven, and surrounded by local wineries and breweries galore. There is so much to see and do in southwest Michigan. We hope you enjoy your stay!

*Pricing is based on comfortably sleeping 6 guests. We do have a sofabed available to sleep 8 for additional fees.

** Feel free to email or message us with your questions. You may inquire about April or May bookings. We use this time to do some maintenance, but there could be some availability.

***Note: Although we DO NOT allow pets at this time, we do occasionally bring our Boston Terrier. The home is cleaned before each guest's visit, and other friends who are around our dog that have allergies are fine when she's around. We mention this in case you are deathly allergic to pets.

****Pull YOUR boat up to our dock easily. We can also direct you to a few pontoon rentals on the lake or in the area.

Absolutely Perfect!

My family and I had a blast! Everything went flawless. From check-in to accuracy of online listing, the overall property and experience has left us wanting more! Will definitely be back. CRAZY WIND AND COLD WEATHER FOR EARLY SEPTEMBER

PROPERTY IS A GREAT LOCATION AND NICE ACCOMADATIONS HOWEVER THE WEATHER DID NOT COOPERATE. WENT FISGING TWO OUT OF FIVE DAYS AND PLAYED TOUREST THE OTHER THREE. OVERALL A VERY GOOD GET AWAY AND HAPPY PLACE!

Great 4th stay!

We absolutely love staying at this house. We've now stayed 4 times for a week each time. The house has everything we need, and close enough to town and groceries. The lake is fantastic and the kids love to swim and fish right off the pier. The hosts are very responsive and super nice.

Perfectly located lake house

This is our third year staying at this lake house. The location and convenience are still the most appealing quality. We know we can make this place our home away from home for a week. Each year we pack less and less because we know it will be at the house. And if it's not, the stores are close by to get what you need. This year we explored more of downtown Coloma. If we could offer a couple suggestions, darker curtains would be appreciated in the bedrooms. We realize we all have different sleep styles, but new mattresses and/or toppers would make the back aches lessen throughout the stay. The place is spacious, especially the driveway space! The neighbors on the left are very friendly with younger kids that are similiar to our kids ages. We walked the neighborhood this year too. It is just such a great location! We are already looking forward to booking next year. Thank you Michelle for always being so responsive and understanding! so close by for what you might need.

Nice little place on the lake

Our stay was great. The property is smaller (described well in the listing) but has a nice patch of sand for our son to play in, a dock to launch my Kayak from and a great lounging area for my wife to use while looking at the lake.

Birthday/Anniversary vacation

Enjoyed the area. The lake house was clean and well stocked with the essentials. The owners left/sent detailed directions on how to do things and how they wanted things done. Very easy to follow. The lake goings on gave us a lot to watch - nice!

Lakeside

Great place on the lake. Sand and dock we're great. Would have been great to have kayaks or paddle boat as was in very quiet area of lake. Enjoyed sitting on deck and fishing off the dock. Close to St Joseph and South Haven with lots to do. House nice with big windows to look out at lake

Convenient Location to Explore SW Michigan

Overall the property was clean and good value to stay right on the water. Things we loved- proximity to other destinations (Warren Dunes/St. Joseph/South Haven), nice neighborhood, fishing off the dock, ducks, clean, well stocked kitchen, communication with owners, rate, and space for our family of 6. There were a few things I would have changed, but to be fair, I knew about most of these things before I arrived based on descriptions/pics. Our family would have loved an outdoor dining table, fire pit, and a place to rent a boat/jet ski on Paw Paw Lake. Some furniture and supplies seemed run down.

What an awesome experience!

From the minute we opened the front door, we felt comfortable. I have stayed in rental properties before where we had to bring everything from towels to the bed linens. Not so, here. The owners outdid themselves by including linens, towels, handsoap, to cleaners, laundry detergent and even coffee!!! Wow. We took a vacation at our home away from home.

Quick vacay for the 4th!

We had a nice time at this quaint little property. My family loved being right on the water and being able to fish off the dock whenever they wanted. Location was great for quick day trips to neighboring coastal communities. We enjoyed St. Joseph, South Haven and Saugatuck.

Great Family Getaway

This is our fourth time staying at this property and it was lovely as usual. We took a day trip to Holland and enjoyed the town and spent some time on the beach in South Haven in addition to our time kayaking and paddle boarding on Paw Paw Lake. Home owners continue to do small upgrades to the property that are noticed and appreciated (new storm doors this year). Kitchen is well equipped for our needs and we like the proximity to the grocery and farmers market near by. This is a great family getaway for people that like things at a slower pace.

Found our annual home on the lake!

We finally found a rental we can return to year after year. The amendities are great, the space is perfect and the lake is wonderful. The owners were accommodating to adding a couple more guests. We were so thrilled to be able to dock our boat and go out on the lake multiple times a day. The dock was a thrill for the kids. The big tub was also fantastic for bubble baths. Returning home without loads of laundry to do was a big plus for Mom and Dad! The kitchen had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. Our only complaint is that vacation time always goes by WAY too fast! We sure had fun. We are already looking ahead to next year for the perfect week to get away again.

Another great stay!

This was our second summer staying at the house, we loved it and had such a great experience the first time, booked it again and are planning to book again for next year. The location on the lake is great, our kids can swim, kayak and fish right off the pier. Just a few minutes drive to Coloma for groceries and food!

My Happy Place

This was our third trip to this house and will not be our last. Morning coffee on the dock with ducks and fish is always refreshing to my soul. We got paddle boards this year and the channel was a perfect place to learn how to use them. My kids love jumping off the dock and paddling around the channel. We love the proximity to South Haven so we can experience Lake Michigan and the town but love the tranquility back on PawPaw Lake. Looking forward to next year!

Great relaxing days at the Lake!

Good communication with the owners. House is as described with a wonderful deck overlooking the lake which was perfect for morning coffee. Plenty of boats, pontoons, ducks and ducklings for entertaining. The house had everything necessary for a home away from home. Good restaurants and wineries nearby. Loved our time here!

Let us introduce ourselves. We are Randy and Michelle and we are both originally from Chicago suburbs, transplanted to central Illinois. We've been married 28 years and have four wonderful children and a bonus daughter-in-law. We enjoy fishing, the outdoors, and boating which led us to search for a fun place to get away that wouldn't take all day to get to. After exploring various locations in Michigan, we were blessed to find our home here on Big Paw Paw Lake. We fell in love with the area, the views, and the oodles of things to do in the nearby area, not to mention proximity to Lake Michigan! We hope you enjoy your stay and would love to hear about your experiences in SW Michigan!

We fell in love with the views from the deck and the brightness of the home with its skylit interior. We are close to one of two boat launches which make for entertaining lake activity. SW Michigan is chocked full of things to do with your family or with friends, all year long. Paw Paw Lake is also one of the largest inland lakes in the area and fishing and boating is abundant here.

We love to sit on the deck as much as possible and enjoy watching boats of all kinds coming into the lake from the public boat launch right around the corner. The first thing I do when I wake up is open the blinds to enjoy the view and the ducks that frequent our area. Since we are from Illinois, we love all the black squirrels here as well, since ours are all gray. There are plenty of turtles you may see sunning themselves on various docks, and occasionally swimming near our dock.
