The perfect vacation; do as much or as little as you want! Relax in the quiet of the woods on the large deck overlooking Sleepy Creek Cabin or on the creek side hammock. Shop or dine in the quaint town of Berkeley Springs, hike the trails or C&O canal, fish, swim or boat the Potomac River or Sleepy Creek lake, or partake in the world famous spas and warm springs.

I have visited this cabin a few times per year for the last several years, and absolutely love it. I was pleasantly surprised by the renovated bathroom with rain shower head and the new sliding doors leading onto the patio. No better place to stay on Sleepy Creek.

The property was lovely and the location was perfect. The kitchen had all we needed to cook breakfast and dinner, and we used the grill a couple of nights. The bathroom was gorgeous. The best feature of the property was sitting on the deck watching the creek flow by. Berkley Springs was not far from the property and had a Food Lion grocery store to meet our needs. We highly recommend sitting in the mineral water at the Roman Bath House. The hosts were very attentive to our needs and answered our questions quickly. They have a gem of a property.

We enjoyed the peaceful sounds of beautiful Sleepy Creek. Just steps from the cozy cottage. Hiking the trails. Enjoying nature at its finest. Kate was a pleasure to work with and very quick to answer any questions. Looking forward to returning soon.

The setting right on the river was the perfect holiday getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the whole family and the open floor plan kept us all connected. Great cabin!

Beautiful cabin, God's country

My husband and I stayed here for our 20th Anniversary! It was the perfect place for a little getaway! We loved everything about the cabin and it was in the perfect place!

A relaxing time

We had a great time relaxing on the porch, grilling food, and listening to the birds.The drive in to Berkeley Springs was beautiful. We had a lot fun walking around antique shops and trying the beers at Cacapon Mountain Brewing.

The property is beautiful! The creek is in your backyard which is the best thing ever. The house is beautiful inside and out. We loved having our vacation here! All of the sounds and trees surrounding us was beautiful! I could definitely stay again! We had plenty of amenities needed for a weeks stay. Above all the creek is just amazing. Every morning I'd sit on the deck with my coffee listening to the creek and the sounds of nature surrounding us. We absolutely love this property and our stay was wonderful!

Hello! We are David and Kate. We live close by in Frederick, MD along with most of our adult children and grandchildren. We are nature lovers and outdoor adventurers and would love to share our dream cabin with you.

Sleepy Creek Cabin is a dream come true for us. Something about the mixture of arts, wellness, and natural beauty of Berkeley Springs kept us returning to this historic town. We finally decided we had to have a place of our own. When we first arrived at the cabin, saw the view of the water right from the deck, the privacy of the woods, and the beauty of the vaulted ceilings within, we knew this place was 'the one'. We lovingly renovated the cabin to what we refer to as 'Rustic Luxury'. No where on earth have we felt the peace as at Sleepy Creek Cabin and we hope to pass that on and let others experience the unique serenity this special place has to offer.

Complete privacy is what you will experience. Sitting on the deck facing the creek you will not see another house or cabin. If you need a break from life in the fast lane, this is it. We love the fact that within 10-15 minutes we can be in town to eat at fine restaurants, tour art galleries, antique shops, or get a massage. Also close by are local parks to boat, fish, hike, run, bike, or ride horses. It truly is the best of all worlds.
