We were quite surprised by this feedback as we did not receive a call, email, VRBO message, or even a text through our guest app from you over your 5-night stay and our attentive team wishes we would have been informed about the cap missing from the pipe out front. We would have been able to immediately have our operations manager and the community association address this so you were not inconvenienced. We also are disappointed to receive such harshly worded feedback calling our villa "way to old and tired." We do strive to present clean and well equipped properties and are sorry you felt that our villa did not meet your expectations. We trust other travelers will look back at other guests feedback and 5-star reviews when drawing their conclusion, such as the one from earlier this year that stated "Everything was as described in the listing."

Our team is surprised to see this as in fact you were moved immediately to another property the afternoon you arrived and we were made aware of this freshly-started paint project. We immediately resolved the inconvenience to you so you would have a wonderful stay. We followed up once you were unpacked in the new property and were happy to hear you loved it and it had amazing views. When maintenance projects arise, we always seek to address them without inconveniencing our guests. In this instance we were not given exact notice on when painting would occur and were just as surprised as you. We resolved this issue like we always do, with our guests' needs taking first priority.

Thank you for leaving your review. We take all reviews seriously and will take your comments into consideration. We do routinely change out air filters at our properties and record them so that it is taken care of in a timely fashion. We responded as quickly as we could to your calls considering it came in after 10:00 pm to the manager on call by sending someone to the property to change the filter and clean any dust from around the contained air handler. All of our guest sign a rental agreement stating the check in and check out dates. The departure date was clearly stated as the 29th and I am very sorry you misunderstood that but glad we were able to offer the additional night at a discounted rate. I am very disappointed that you were unhappy with your stay as we were as responsive and helpful as we could be to your needs.

Thanks so much for your feedback and we're glad to hear you enjoyed your visit. We are sorry about the maintenance items (ice maker and light bulbs) and we have taken care of those. Also, you'll be glad to know the couch has just been replaced. We had received similar feedback from other guests and recently upgraded the living room furniture and added a flat screen TV in that room. We also have replaced the mattress in the master bedroom.
