LaRaye is the perfect host. She has the best villa in the complex. We absolutely loved it all. Food and drink were top notch

Such a wonderful property. This was our second year returning. Bahia Pez Vela offers all the benefits of a resort hotel (on site restaurant, concierge for excursions, massages, etc., security, airport transportation) with the additional perk of having a whole house to enjoy rather than being crammed into a single room with your whole family. Everyone was super friendly. The beach was very quiet. Despite coming during the rainy season, we only had showers on a couple the afternoons during our weeklong stay. Highly recommend!

Villa Las Olas was absolutely fantastic. Very comfortable for a longer stay. Bahia Pez Vela property was very pretty and laid back, we’d definitely come back.

It was a wonderful place to celebrate a big birthday with our two kids and their partners and our grandson! The house was very tidy and well appointed for cooking in and also included lots of games, snorkeling equipment, music, great Turkish towels for the pool/beach and so much more. The staff was lovely and attentive in cleaning up the pool and patio after a major rainstorm. Being right on the beach with a private pool right outside our door with fabulous views of the ocean was the real bonus.

The property was amazing!! Having the private pool and the beach right in front of you can not be beat. The host gave detailed information that helped with our stay. The restaurant on the property was very good. We went there several times. So many great things to say! I highly recommend! We have already talked about how great it would be to go back.

This is a quiet, private location perfect for rest and relaxation. The restaurant, steps from the home, is amazing! Great fresh food and the best wait staff. We loved the black sand beach and had fun exploring the tide pools during low tide.

Could not be more pleased with the location and cleanliness! Owner was super responsive and the staff on site was great. Monkeys outside the door. Steps from the beach. Appreciate the security guard doing nightly walk around. This was our second stay and would highly recommend.

The house and location is absolutely amazing. Everything exceeded our expectations. LaRaye is a great host. Cesar and Jacky at Bahia are amazing as well. Will definitely be back. Probably one of the best VRBOs ever.

We had everything we needed and more. LaRaye was a great host and answered every question we had leading up to the trip and gave so much info on places to eat and things to do during our stay which was much appreciated. Having the pool right there was the highlight. I greatly appreciated being able to use the 'resort' amenities like the beach chairs and other pools. Don't sleep on the pool up on the top for a great view at sunset or a change of pace. No notes!

Check in was extremely easy. The house was well stocked with all your needs for the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and beach. The beach was beautiful. Soluna restaurant had great food and prices.

Perfect Guanacaste Location

LaRaye’s place is perfect! One of the best places we’ve stayed. Beautiful private pool and beachfront location. Easy to get to surrounding beaches and explore. Ideal location for Guanacaste travel.

What a phenomenal host! She was incredibly responsive and provided a wealth of helpful information before and during our stay. The home was beautifully maintained, fully stocked with all the essentials, and featured a stunning pool with breathtaking views—just steps from the beach. The receptionist staff was equally wonderful, accommodating our requests and answering every question with ease.I have no complaints—this property truly exceeded expectations. When I return to Costa Rica (and I absolutely will), I would love to stay here again.

Family beach vacation

We enjoyed the privacy of our own pool overlooking the beach while also enjoying the security and amenities of a club. House was clean and perfect for our group.

Fantastic Location, Perfect Place for a Family

This place was fantastic for a family with school age kids! It was well-equipped with all supplies, comfortable with furniture and very effective air conditioning, and had a pool that exceeded expectations. The location, with the ability to walk right out the backyard to the beach, was unbeatable. The resort location is not too far from the airport but feels remote; the restaurant is delicious with wonderful service. We had such a great time that we will certainly return!

Never wanted to leave!
