The house was as advertised, our group was 70 yr plus and enjoyed the decks for sunsets.As to be expected there are lots of stairs in the house and 135 steps to the private beach. Great location.Make sure when first booking the management company sends All contracts and house rules for your review! I would recommend this house and management company properties. See you next year

From the minute we walked in the door we knew our time at Hummingbird Beach House was going to be special. The beautiful view of Lake Michigan, well appointed home-did not disappoint. Our group is already planning to find a time to go back!!

Great house and amazing property and beach!

Such a nice area and beach! They did a great job with the house and were very helpful and responsive if we needed anything! Definitely will stay again!

Beautiful home, even more beautiful view

We had an incredible stay at Hummingbird Beach House. The view cannot be beat. The deck is worth the stay alone. And the house is large, comfortable and well stocked. We will be back!

Family beach vacation

Beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Cannot beat. Great indoor and outdoor space. Plenty of space. Clean. Great for our 2 families to stay at night.

Better than any Lake MI rental I’ve ever stayed in!

Many rentals list their homes as “luxury”, we’ve rented many in the price range of over $1000/nt. I also own a rental myself in another state. This home is truly luxury level in many ways! I’ve never seen a cleaner rental!!! So much care has gone into this home!

Beautiful home, amazing location

Wonderful property! Very comfortable, clean, nicely appointed, well-stocked house. Location right on private beach cannot be beat! Beautiful dunes a few minutes’ walk from property.Only think to note is that the stairway to beach is very significant—it’s about 150 steps down…and back up! ;) Older guests or those with health issues may find this very challenging…our group was able to traverse easily but I think this should be noted more clearly on listing.So close to Sagatuck and Holland, so much to do and see! The views from the porch and hanging at the beach and in the lake are definitely the best features of this property. Amazing location.

Stunning view, tons of space, multiple large sitting areas for family games and meals, inside and outside. Amazing section of beach, not crowded, soft sand and clear water. I walked for miles in both directions and enjoyed the peaceful gorgeous views. All three generations loved it and said they would like to come back. The stairs are long but they are sturdy and thoughtfully done with a beveled and well sanded handrail and there is a nicely placed bench half way down for a rest. Our teenage and young adult sons ran them two at a time and enjoyed the workout, most of us were fine using them a couple times a day, the least active did not use them but were not beach people anyway and enjoyed the treehouse perch with beach and lake views and wave sounds from the deck and stunning tranquil views from many rooms of the house. The beds and furniture is all high quality and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Enjoyed short trips into Saugatuck and Holland. Everyone enjoyed playing games and watching the sunset from the outdoor sectional each night. Great place to spend time with family and friends.
