The house is older but has been shown a lot of love. It is very comfortable and “homey”. The best part is probably the front porch with rockers and a beautiful ocean view. Highly recommend.

This was the third summer we've stayed at Moon Spinner cottage. We love the convenience of being just steps from the beach while also having a shady front porch with ocean view when the weather is too hot or stormy. It's also great to have a large grassy area to grill out as well as ample parking.

Rooms clean. Host was there and greeted us. Provided a short history of the location. View of the ocean from the front deck which had a hammock and rocking chairs. Host had some beach umbrellas, boogie boards and an outside (covered) shower with a lower line to wash off your feet. Large lot for parking so we weren't on the street. Great time, loved it and would do it again.

Hello, spent a lot of time relaxing on the front porch in the rocking chairs and the hammock. Taking walks on the beach is relaxing as you’re taking in the view. Taking a half mile walk to the fish pear to get an ice cream at 2 o’clock in the morning was awesome. I highly recommend hanging out at this house for get away.

Beautiful beach view from porch and from bedrooms. We liked the easy beach access and convenience to Kure Beach and Carolina Beach. Kitchen was well-stocked and spacious. Everything was clean. We had a wonderful stay.

Relaxing place to stay

We took a walk to the pier all seven days. Freddie’s is a good place to eat. Watched the sunrises and moon rise. Hope you enjoye your stay as much as we did.

The most perfect getaway

We have stayed at the MoonSpinner Cottage several times and always look forward to coming back! Perfect location, cozy cottage and the most wonderful hosts! Can’t wait for our next visit in May.

We love this place because of the shady porch with an ocean view. It's a quick easy walk to the beach, but the porch is a great place to enjoy the scenery when it's too hot or at night. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and beach chairs are provided.

We fell in love with your home, location was perfect! It was clean, kitchen has everything you would need for cooking. The outside shower was awesome! We will definitely be back.

Perfect location! Loved the huge porch which became our “go to” for family meals and relaxing. Easy access to the beach … just a minute away. Close to a great fishing pier with restaurants, arcade, etc. Kure Beach is a hidden gem and this house is wonderful to experience not only Kure Beach but adjacent Carolina Beach, the Aquarium, and the ferry. We absolutely loved our time here!

Lovely 337 Atlantic Ave Beach Home

Short stay but perfect! Host was very communicative, the property is oceanfront with a lovely porch to relax and enjoy the sound and sights of the ocean. Safe location, clean home with all the amenities and well appointed. Would recommend a stay.

Perfect Beach Location

The house is located with direct beach access, and a short walk to the peer. The porch was a peaceful hangout for us, where we could watch the waves break and nap on the hammock.

A key selling point for Moonspinner Cottage was the front porch with rocking chairs and a view of the ocean, and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed morning coffee, lunch and dinner on the porch. And the cottage is so charming - a quintessential beachside bungalow with thick wood panelling in the den and an old fireplace / mantel. I hope we can visit in cooler weather too. In addition to a short walk to the beach, there are a couple of good restaurants in walking distance. And everyone enjoyed the outdoor shower! When I was a child, beach house outdoor showers meant small and cold water only. But this one was roomy with hot water and great water pressure - our grown children loved it. And the host was very responsive. We hope to return soon!
