830 Plymouth Pl 1st floor is located just steps away from the boardwalk between 7th and 8th St. and all the attractions OC has to offer, including water slides, arcades, and rides.

Handicap accessible. Pet friendly. There is a patio with outdoor furniture as you enter the condo. Hardwood floors throughout. 2 full bathrooms, one with tub and other with stand up shower. Full kitchen with all cooking amenities and washer/dryer. Flat screen T.V. with cable in living room. Wifi. Perfect for a family getaway in prime location.

Check in was extremely easy. I love that the unit in on the bottom floor of the house and close to the boardwalk. We enjoyed having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is bare. There isn’t foil, plastic wrap, salt, pepper, dish soap, hand soap, etc. You must bring a lot of items. We had to run to Acme on the first day for some items that are usually in our rentals. There were no blankets for the bunk beds. The listing said that the bunk beds are twin, but they are actually full. It should be updated so renters bring the correct bedding.Be aware that there are ants throughout the unit and a lot of fruit flies in the unit! I tried my best to get rid of them, but there were too many.

Wonderful Location

We really had a great time but a little disappointed in the upkeep of the property Photos are a bit misleading. There were many items in disrepair. There is a spongy spot in the floor on the backside of the breakfastbar. We had to avoid it as it felt like we were going to fall thru it.The bunk beds are not twins, they are full/double so we brought the wrong sheetsIt mentions a full Kitchen with all cooking amenities, but nothing to clean them with. I should not have to travel with dish soap and sponges. We were lucky to find dishwasher detergentThere was an invasion tiny ants. They were in the bathroom, kitchen cabinets, counters and under the sink. Had to buy spray.I believe the dryer vent to the outside needs to be cleaned out as the dryer took a minimum of 3 times restarting to get the clothes dry.This info is more for safety and energy waste. Slight inconvenienceThere were also water leaks under the bathroom and kitchen sinks. They appear to be know as there were paper towels and a mat under them.I just could not believe such a wonderful property and location would be let goThere is a parking lot steps from the house actually in several directions, but none of them allow overnights.

Nice ending to summer

After a summer full of ups and downs, we finally got our shore visit in. Location was perfect for transport of infants to beach and boardwalk. Clean and basic. Owner was kind.

Great location. Walk-in shower not accessible if you have a wheelchair or walker without moving a bed and dresser. Otherwise, a great place.

Great Location!!

Amazing location! Close to the boardwalk and beach! Had an amazing week and so grateful to be able to bring our larger dog. The reviews were pretty accurate but nothing that we couldn’t deal! Amazing location and lots of fun!

Great location. Everything else was disappointing. Dryer was broke. Dishwasher didn’t work. Poor phone service. Weak internet.Listing said twin bunk beds, but we were told after we were already on the way (from out of state) that the beds were full sized. So the bedding we brought we didn’t fit :(Lots of gnats and spiders in the bathrooms from day one. Spots of mold on the ceiling in the master bathroom.It smelled like wet dog and didn’t feel clean.Every door looked like it had been in a wrestling match with Hulk Hogan. The floor was very uneven and felt like it was giving way in the kitchen.The front door handle was very loose and hanging on by a single screw.We let the owner know about these things but they didn’t respond.The temperature was ok but the ac struggled to maintain the humidity and clothes/towels always felt damp.We could hear every step the upstairs tenants took. Very loud!! Lots of shuffling of furniture and occasionally children crying.Even though Parking was definitely a bummer (we had two cars and there was no assigned parking) We were usually able to find parking within in 1-3 blocks on Atlantic during the day. We got very lucky early in our stay that a spot close to the boardwalk on Plymouth opened up. I will mention that I only got the spot because I woke up in the middle of the night at 4am and saw it was open. Definitely won’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend.

Adorable little place

We enjoyed our stay very much. My kids had their own rooms and they shared a bathroom. My buns and and I had our own bathroom as well. The place was clean and we really enjoyed the porch. It was a quick walk to the boardwalk. There wasn’t parking but we did park in the lot on the next block. Over all it was a great mini vacation.

Cute little place!

This rental was close to the boardwalk, very clean and cozy. Our black lab loved being able to be in and out on the enclosed front porch. We did have a little difficulty finding parking close by but did not have to walk far when we did find a spot. Would recommend it to others

We had a very enjoyable week in Ocean City, NJ. The property is on the block of the boardwalk, which is very convenient for small children. The property was exactly as we expected. As a pet friendly property we were able to bring our 2 small dogs. The fenced in porch is a big plus for both little children and the dogs. We didn’t need to call the owner for any issues, as we had none.

Listing is accurate

Overall, the listing is accurate. The location was perfect-very close to beach/boardwalk and to downtown. We brought one dog and were pleased that it was on the first floor. The place was clean and neat when we came. We had some confusion with the check-in process and with locking the door. The VRBO listing and the message from the host said two different things. The beds were pretty uncomfortable and the queen bed almost collapsed into the middle when two people tried to get in it. Conversely, the couch/futon in the living room was very comfortable.

Property is in an excellent location but could use some fixing up. The ventilation and air vents are very dirty and have black mold spots around them. There were also ants in the kitchen. The flooring is NOT hardwood. There are lots of blemishes and one spot near counter that feels weak and ready to give. Lots of blemishes on the walls too. I could not use the dryer due to excessive sand inside it. The dishwasher had a very bad fishy smell when opened up. We also had very noisy neighbors above us very late at night. Disappointed with the overall experience.

Happy dog and comfortable elderly mom

We were very happy to find this dog friendly AND accessible property for our thanksgiving visit. It was clean enough and comfortable enough for our needs. (Keep in mind this is a pet friendly place) Communication was really good; Russell was friendly and helpful. Sure it’s a bit quirky, low ceilings, a little dark, but it had everything we needed and for a reasonable price!

Good location, but has drawbacks

The location was good for accessing the boardwalk, but the accommodations were not overwhelming. As mentioned in previous reviews, the property was not cleaned very well and was in need of some general repairs. The king bed was covered in dog hair, and there was a bunch of fur and some dog toys left under the bed. The shower curtains were moldy when we arrived. The landlord did drop off some new curtains and bleach, and the curtains cleaned up ok. The shower mats were in the washer full of water when we arrived, so we had to finish the cycle. The washer does not run a full cycle, so you have to set it to run a spin cycle separately (mentioned in a review 2 years ago). There was a full mouse trap when we got there as well, and a base cabinet had a bunch of mouse droppings in it. The trap could have been a fresh catch, but I feel the cabinet should have been cleaned. Also, parking is an issue. We weren’t able to locate overnight parking nearby, so ended up several blocks away. The beach is accessible, but crowded in this area. Overall, the experience was a bit frustrating, but not terrible. However, I would not expect to stay here again. The property has potential If it were just maintained and cleaned better.

Multiple problems in the description,of, comfort safety and cleanliness.

The description of the condo was that it sleeps nine. The king size room and the queen size mirror we’re as described the middle bunk bedroom was not made for a teenager or adult to sleep on it was so close to the ceiling. The futon/sofa in the living room was very uncomfortable to sit in. There was enough room for four people to sit in the living room and for four people to sit in the dining room. The place was dirty as though we were only broom swept we found a candy wrapper behind the end table in the first bedroom, the king size bedroom had a pair of underwear on the floor and a receipt dated July 11, 2022. My reservation was August 13-20. The bedskirt on the king size bed had a ring of dirt around it I do have pictures that I would love to send you. Both shower curtains were moldy with black and red mold from that him up about 3 inches . When we came and the only instructions for the house were that the washer only drained on delicate cycle. The oven did not work properly. There was no fire extinguisher. No back door for exit. All the vents were very dusty including the portable air conditioner vent . I had to wipe out the refrigerator the vegetable drawers had vegetable dried crumbs and underneath the drawers there was a stain that should’ve been cleaned up the door panels had dust all over them. I was shocked that this man left this place in such condition. The porch was decent the furniture out there was nicer than the furniture inside and the distance from the boardwalk to the house was a great asset. When we swept next to the washing machine there was also a pair of underwear and lots of dust there too. I don’t feel as though I should’ve had to pay a cleaning fee. And I would like to see if I could get a partial refund for the inconveniences. I also want to mention that I have stayed at many places for rent before and I’ve never had this experience . There was also not enough plates for nine people they were for dishes and four small plates. There were ample coffee cups and plastic glasses. If you would like me to send you pictures I would be more than happy to and if you want the other friend who stayed with me to corroborate I’d be happy to give you that information also. Good spot

The property is only a block from the beach and boardwalk, which is a real plus. Pet friendly, even a gated porch. The owner was very responsive to problems or questions. Parking is difficult. Once you get your spot, don’t move! Almost everything you need is within walking distance.
