If you are looking for pure peace...this is the place. Kayaking on the lake with no one around. The sunsets are beautiful!!

This cabin was perfect for our family of five. We stayed two nights and went to Mackinac Island one of the days, it was a very convenient location. We actually wished we would have planned to stay a few more days to enjoy the property. The house sits on a lake, and there is a pontoon boat available (although we didn’t use it). The inside of the house is very well cared for and has lots of baskets and shelves to put your belongings in during your stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We had a delightful time on Lancaster Lake Yuri was very gracious and we appreciated his generosity in allowing us to use his pontoon. We had relatives two miles down the road, so the location couldn’t have been better.Thank you!July 2026

I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the cabin, the kitchen was left dirty the coffee maker was disgusting my dad went out and had to buy a new one to use,the utensil drawer had bugs in it. I took pictures of everything. The view is pretty I just felt disappointed

Cabin was very cozy and peaceful. Everything was as described. Comfortable bed even though we are accustomed to a king, the queen was perfect for us on our mini honeymoon. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s rustic but comfortable. But as a reference point for future guests, my disabled 73 year-old mom who is not-so-steady on her feet had a hard time with a few things. But she liked the bed in the room by the bathroom, which is kind of a miracle. I loved it though, would have been great when my kids were little!

This cabin was perfect! Very calm and quiet and the pontoon boat was a great addition! Cabin was clean and had everything you need for an up north vacation. The lake is very quiet, so if your group will be loud it will be heard all across the lake.

Very nice cabin on Lake Lancaster

Very clean cabin on Lancaster Lake. Includes a small pontoon boat which was a bonus as we are a fishing family! Slept 4 comfortably.

We loved our stay in this cute lake cabin! We really enjoyed the bonus pontoon, kayaks, hammock, and paddle boat! It was fully equipped with life jackets and water shoes. This place was within a short distance of lakes and parks. We would definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

We are from Cheboygan and have raised our kids here. Now we have a few grandkids and get to watch them grow up in beautiful northern Michigan. We purchased the cabin from our friends in 2024. They also used the cabin as a rental. This little old family cabin is a nice getaway.

I love that our cabin is in a semi-private setting and on a small body of water. Everyone can have a quiet relaxing time but be close to I75, Cheboygan, Mackinaw, and just a short drive to Indian River or Harbor Springs. You can grill & chill or run around northern MI and come back to a relaxing bonfire.

Private setting on a small lake. It’s not too rustic but comfortable. Bathroom remodel happened in May 2025 along with the addition of A/C.
