What a fabulous location! Everything you might need is provided, that is so rare! Easy check in. Comunication with host is seamless! Very quick response! Very clean and nice appointments throughout!! We will be back!

The kitchen was great!!! It had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The house worked out great for our family The kids loved fishing off the dock We never once had to contact the hosts about a problem. Would definitely stay here again

Great place! Exactly as advertised. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Host was easy to communicate with and prompt on their replies. Would recommend and stay again!

Everything was excellent. The accommodations were beautiful. The home was comfortable and met all of our needs. The cottage is set in the most beautiful setting along the Black River. There were plenty of towels and the entire property was clean and ready for guests. The owners were easy to communicate with and we definitely hope to return.

Graduation weekend

We had a great time staying at the house for a family members high school graduation weekend. The house is even prettier than the pictures and the proximity to the river is wonderful because you can watch the boats come and go. It is also right off the main portion of the town so you have all of your services very handy, but still feel like here in a secluded location. The best of both worlds!

Fantastic Place to Relax and Recharge!

Breathing taking views of the River, we hiked the trails, seen eagles, woodpeckers, and other birds. The home is beautiful, cozy and has everything stocked with many extra added details that a family would ever want or need for their stay. The cozy fireplace in the living room and the piano was a favorite spot my family enjoyed so much. We all had a wonderful time!

Internet was great. Kitchen had anything you needed for cooking! Very homey. We all felt cozy and comfortable just like our homes! Only 2 issues, Stink bugs upstairs in the bathroom, (my daughter was freaking out) and the Roku. Missed the game! 😥

We stayed here for a family reunion and had a great time. The location was perfect. Being right on the river means mosquitoes at times, that's what long sleeves and bug spray is for. We brought some SUPs and enjoyed putting in right from the dock on the property. The fire pit was also a big hit. We made good use of the entertainment options - the piano, giant checkerboard on the back porch, dart board and foosball table in the basement, and Cornhole in the yard. We almost missed the large selection of board games in the utility room but found them and enjoyed some of them as well. We lucked out with the weather so we're able to turn off the A/C overnight while opening the windows to let in the cool air and heat the birds outside - including a couple of eagles. The kitchen was great for what we needed with a large variety of pots and pans. We liked having a regular coffee maker in addition to a Keurig so we could choose what worked best for us.The washer and dryer were incredibly handy and allowed us to pack a bit lighter. The main floor bedroom doesn't have an actual door (as pictured on the website), but that didn't really matter as it's off on its own at the end of the hall. We actually just opened the basement door which blocked the hall enough to feel closed in. I highly recommend the property, and we will stay here again if we need family accommodations in Black River Falls.
