Aloha, Thank you for acknowledging the cleanliness, excellent air conditioning, peaceful surroundings, and wonderful outdoor shower. I would like to clarify several points for future guests. The MauiJOY Villa is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, offering exceptional privacy. Guest accommodations are at the rear of the property, far from the street, with no neighboring homes overlooking the area or into the windows! Our 33,000-gallon, L-shaped pool is accurately depicted in the photos. As disclosed, this is an owner-occupied property. The bedrooms are separated by a wall with closets on both sides. Many honeymoon couples have enjoyed the privacy and romantic atmosphere of this tropical sanctuary with no complaints. Regarding my attentiveness, you repeatedly left outdoor candles burning unattended and exterior and pool lights on overnight, despite requests to extinguish or turn them off. This presented fire-safety concerns and attracted insects, requiring my intervention. Respecting house rules protects everyone's comfort and safety. Your three-star rating was surprising given our predominantly five-star reviews and my dedication to guest satisfaction. You also requested an extension of your stay, which I coordinated with housekeeping, although you ultimately chose not to extend. I take great pride in providing a peaceful, welcoming retreat where guest comfort and privacy are always priorities. Mahalo for your feedback.

The addition of that outdoor furniture beneath the mango tree in the lower garden is providing such a sweet place to sit and enjoy some time on one's own with serene views of Molokini Crater and the Island of Kahoolawe. You two were the On the GO couple with things to do, sites to see and taught me about the guided tour instead of driving on your own to Hana. You loved that experience so I will recommend it to others. You are the FIRST couple to hike to the top of the Waihee Ridge Trail, a steep, challenging hike with amazing views! You two are so sweet and kind. I hardly knew you were there except when you would go out on an adventure. I'm so happy that you enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. Most homes around me are 2nd homes and not occupied often and being next to thousand of acres of undevelped land helps too and also brings us deer sightings.
