This was the perfect spot for a weekend get away! The houseboat is the cutest!! I loved being about to go to the top deck and watch the sunset, it was gorgeous. We spent the day relaxing on the top deck watching the boats and fishermen go by. We will definitely be back. Susan was the nicest host! She made sure our weekend was perfect!

Such a cozy and unique space

Everything was perfect!! The space, the water, the views, and the property manager, Susan!! Can’t wait to come back to this beauty!!

The houseboat was amazing. The inside was absolutely spotless, the air conditioning worked flawlessly, and the bed, couch, and other furniture was all very comfortable. The drive to the property where the houseboat is docked is peaceful and gorgeous. One of the neighbors has a beautiful white horse that is very friendly and I stopped to say hi twice.One of the biggest treats was watching a bald eagle swooping down and catching fish on the lake.I travel to that area for work occasionally and I am absolutely going to try to stay here again. The picture I have attached is near sunset after a big rain storm.

Susan was great to deal with! She was quick to respond and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay but the place smelled really musty. I used a whole can of Lysol and it still smelled. The couch could probably use a good cleaning as well. The house boat was really neat to stay on and was nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked well with utensils, etc. Lots of outdoor seating and floating pads for the lake was a plus. We didn’t get to use all of the amenities due to a short stay but still nice to point out. Towels and wash clothes were provided.

Very relaxing stay. Communications with host were timely and most helpful. could not have asked for a more responsive host. We learned a bit about house boating , shouldn't have been surprised. This was our 1st time on a houseboat, it is different and fun. tho it is docked, it provided us with a new adventure. LOL. A gentle roll and sway, so slight, might make sleep a little better, a step, not quite what one would expect. Not to be left out, peaceful upper deck, eagles, duck parade, and boaters, fishermen, children on tubes, at times giggling past, wow sunset, steam rise in morning, memories will not be forgotten. These are some of the adventures we encountered in the 5 nights shared on the Dixie Lynn. Thanks to all involved in making the property available.
