The camp was awesome. Very clean and well-stocked. Roger was a great host- met us at check-in and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful week.

Roger’s camp is a beautiful get away retreat from the busy world. We sat back and relaxed as eagles and osprey flew overhead. At night the call of the loons can be heard and during the day the loons are most entertaining as they search for fish alongside our boat. The lake itself is calm with little boat traffic, and plenty of good fishing. Always a pleasure to come to Wayne, Maine and Roger’s charming camp.

We had a terrific kayaking and canoeing week at the cabin. We love this place as a home base for our boating and birding adventures. It is a charming cozy cabin and it was really clean. To be honest, we spent most of our day outdoors or on the lake. We swam in the lake every day. The location is just too beautiful to spend time inside! Thanks to Roger, our host, for sharing this gem of a place with us.

My favorite vacation spot for many years!

The camp has everything you need for a nice relaxing stay. It is perfect. The camp grounds, docks, kayaks made my vacation great for everyone.

Wonderful as always

Roger's place is simple, clean, and has great swimming. The short paddle to Tubby's is an extra bonus!

Simple camp on a quiet lake

The camp is basic but has everything you need, the lake is quiet without much boat traffic, and the provided canoe and kayaks were perfect.

Pocasset Paradise

Beautifully quiet camp on a beautifully quiet lake. We enjoyed every moment of our vacation and will hopefully return to Rogers paradise.

Pocasset vacation

This is a great rustic hideaway.It checked all the boxes for a great vacation. The location is perfect as we are paddlers and Pocasset is in the middle of lots of other lakes. We want to comr back again and do morr!

Beautiful lake and cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Roger’s cabin. The kayaks and canoe were in great shape and easy to launch into the lake. We enjoyed swimming out to the dock, fishing, and exploring the lake. The cabin was clean and very cozy and had all we needed for the week!

wonderful stay

Clean, well-equipped cabin right on the beautiful lake. Great view of the water from the screened-in porch. Kayaks easy to put and get out of the water; comfortable dock. Roger was very attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Paradise

Roger’s camp is simply the best. Clean and well stocked. The lake is quiet and ever so peaceful. We are hoping to return to this lakeside paradise.

10 years running

We have enjoyed spending one week every summer for 10 years at this lakeside cabin! It’s so relaxing and the owner is super responsive

Great 2nd Stay

This was our second year in a row staying at Roger's camp. My family talked about it from the time we left until we returned. Lake Pocasset is truly a place to relax. Thanks again, Roger.

Perfect as always

I have been coming to this camp for several years and it is simply the best for relaxing and just enjoying some down time. The camp has all that you need and Roger is a great host. I will be back next month again for a wk that is how much I enjoy it.

Quintessential Maine Camp

Roger’s camp is a little slice of heaven. Lake Pocasset is very quiet and beautiful. The cabin itself was spotless and very comfortable, even in a heatwave there were a multitude of fans to keep us cool. It had a very informative guestbook and was clearly very well cared for. We were happy to have the opportunity to stay at such a nice place.

Lake Life

Roger’s camp on Pocasset Lake is by far the most relaxing place to spend a week or two. Very little boat traffic makes this lake appealing but the wildlife on the lake makes this lake exciting. The camp is simply the best and the dock is the perfect place to spend the afternoon reading and relaxing.

Roomy cabin with great waterfront screened porch

The cabin is clean and very well stocked with pots, pans, plates and utensils. The property is private and the breeze off the lake almost always blows right into porch. Heavenly. The property owner is extremely accommodating and available just minutes away.

Tranquility

Roger’s camp is a wonderful way to escape into a world of peace and quiet. Read a book on the dock or sit by the fire at night and watch the moon rise over the lake. Nothing compares to the tranquility of this lakeside paradise. Hope to come again next year.
